The team that administered my lexi scan was wonderfully competent, efficient and I was very well cared for - they took a day that I expected to be really uncomfortable and made it very comfortable for me and I really appreciate it!

Everyone, from the EMT, to the physician were very pleasant. I really like my doctor, and how he listened to me.

Alvarado ER is an awesome place. We did not have to wait for hours like most ER’s. The doctors and nurses are so professional and kind. I will always go to Alvarado ER if I need to. Thank you Alvarado hospital for taking such wonderful care of my granddaughter.

THEIR EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE BIG SCAM. PLEASE DON'T GO!

I had to rush my wife here as she was complaining about pain in the right part of the chest. That was nothing but a gastric pain. I knew and it they knew it too. Instead of just prescribing her some medicines related to gas, they put her on iv with the reason of her 120 heart rate. I was in middle of the night. When one is sleep deprived plus some pain in chest could lead to increased heart rate. The gave unnecessary treatment and charged us $6000. Basically, they will find a reason to charge you and your insurance. They also did unnecessary tests like hemoglobin, thyroid and a lot of others that were not even the parameters to look at for a chest pain. After all of this unnecessary treatment, they prescribed a gas medicine which is available over the counter.

I hope someone will file fraudulent treatment charges on this hospital.

This was the absolute worst excuse for a hospital that I had ever been to. I was admitted and discharged promptly, hardly any tests that should have been made rude doctors and staff and their paperwork is a joke, it says that doctors are independent contractors and that neither they nor the hospital are responsible for any medical malpractice (what? !) Awful awful this place should be shut down I still cannot believe how rude and unhelpful the employees were

My nurses and my doctor were amazing. All my labs, tests, and x-rays were done within 30 min of me getting a bed. My nurses were compassionate and funny. They made me feel like I was the only patient. So glad I chose this emergency department over any others.

I stay here more than a day. Didn’t have a lot of experiences, but I feel pleasant. I have just been a stent on my heart. Now, I am really good. Thanks for all.

The staff was excellent with helping my grandfather. Kept us updated and answered any questions.

I have never seen such a discussing ER. I had to clean my chair. They need to clean house with all the nurses. The doctor did not introduce herself. My son and I had such a horrible experience. Its so sad how they take care of the patients. I will never come back here again.

The most trash hospital ever. Please save yourself and don’t come here. My mom had a check up procedure yesterday and my mom asked if it’s gonna hurt they told her no but brought her out in a wheel chair after she was done because it did hurt or maybe they just didn’t know how to do the job and made it hurt. They just want your money and terrible terrible doctors/nurses.

I have never waited so long at a hospital I wasent the only one that complained I was in the waiting room at 9pm and is still waiting in the waiting room at 4: 39 am very ridiculous I'll go to Scripps for now on.

The surgical staff and nurses assigned to the 6 North floor of the hospital provided excellent care. Specifically, Nicole RN, Cynthia RN and Luke RN 6th floor, Dalia RN pre-op and Amy RN pre/post op all provided outstanding compassionate care!

Visiting hours are 9 to 6. Apparently nobody is admitted here that has working family members. As we were about to walk out, we were handed a card with visitor hours that go to 8 but still denied a visit. Come back at 9am tomorrow. (and miss work so you don't have money to pay us for this visit, please!)

My experience with the emergency room visit was exceptional. At every point of interaction, the team members were kind and professional even down to the security guard who offered a new patient a more comfortable wheelchair to sit in upon arrival. From intake to discharge was only about three hours and I was told that it was a busy day with patients. If another emergency visit was ever needed, this would be my first choice hands down.

Watch out from the lady who admits you in the emergency room she's super rude and a liar I got admitted to the hospital and got discharged no one talked to me about any billing

I called and asked to apply for emergency medical they told me to call next day. When I called the same lady was super rude and told me I said no for emergency medical and that am getting billed, when she never asked or said anything about billing it looks like they get paid a percentage from the billing or smthng otherwise i dont see a reason to lie. I asked for her name and she just hangup the phone. Super rude and unprofessional.bad experience.

Thank you to all the surgical team and the nurses that care for me before, during and after spine surgery. I appreciate your kindness and skills. Without you all I would not be here today I’m on the road to recovery and better health so that I can help others.
