Alvarados Mexican and Seafood

Been going to Alvarado's for years. Their menu is extensive and food is authentic Mexican. Every plate delicious. Service and staff treat every customer like family; again, culturally genuine. 5 Stars isn't enough.

I was pleasantly met with great service and interaction here. First timer, Erma was quick to onboard me onto the surf n turf burrito, super flavorful and mouth watering (shrimp/steak).
They were out of a specific drink and Erma was quick to grab some from the back. Thanks again guys, will be coming back definitely!

Irma was amazing at taking my order and making sure it was everything I asked for. Sorry for being so confusing.lol
I recommend this place for sure. Love the daily specials, it's worth the value. I can't wait to try the pozole, I actually want to try everything on the menu.

Ordered the Tuesday special which is two tacos. I chose the chicken and it was pretty much flavorless. Didn't finish those but figured the carne asada burrito would be good and to was largely the same.but extremely greasy and messy. There's good reviews on this place but the food today was subpar compared to the other Mexican restaurants in the area

I do not recommend race I ordered some burritos and they gave me raw tortillas the meat that they put in the Flute is well frozen very bad the food I do not recommend if it occurs to them Order food in this place

Stopped in on our last day here in Cali before head back to Texas! Amazing food and awesome service. We will be back!

We really like the food. It's a very nice place. The food is delicious, and Erma is very nice and welcoming.

I'm eating here now and this place rocks, there menu is great and diverse and the food is bomb!

I Ordered menudo, it was flavorless
Almost no meat just red water and a few pieces of meat, but very expensive like $16.00 for small plate

Had the Tuesday special. I asked the server for a recommendation for meat choice. She recommended carnitas. The burrito was good size and had plenty of meat. She also gave me complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and tasty. Very delicious food and great service.

Get the same thing at most places. Not authentic at all. Go try the taco trucks on Winchester or any other and get real Mexican food, Chicano

I got one piece of stake. Besides it smells don't know if they have a sanitation problem in the back or there feeding people bad meat. If yet the worst place in town.is you really want want a carne asada come to my house even i could serve you better. The sad thing is i can't even rate it lower than one. Highly not recommend.don't know if they guy in the back is drinking.but surely your bound to get ripped off.if that's that's the case just go to del taco.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would have. I wanted to try a new restaurant so I stopped here but the tacos I had, the meat tasted as if it had been reused from days before! Why not care about the quality of the food? Will never return again and warn others of this.

First off the service is off the charts good. Salsa and chips are excellent. I tried the tripas tacos and damn they were freagin awesome. I've been back since just for those. My wife had the chicken and carne asada tacos and loved them. The taquitos are excellent also. So far we've loved everything. Give this little gem a try, you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this restaurant and the food is more than delicious. I recommend it to. The food is Fresh and the place is very clean. The staff is very friendly and personal!
