The cinco tacos special are loaded! Love the salsa! Great tasting Mexican Plates, food is so good, every time I visit This part of the town, I have to stop by. Those Bañuelos are irresistible

Alvaro’s is a 24-hour Mexican spot in north county Sam Diego that remains open both as a walk-in and a drive-thru. The California burrito is pretty solid and well-balanced with ingredients. The salsa is all right, but they give a generous amount if you ask. Definitely great as a late night spot.

One word: cheap. Not the price, but the quality. We ordered the dine-in option and still received plastic utensils, sauces, and it was served in a styrofoam container. We thought that restaurants had finally started reducing waste or at least using more sustainable alternatives. We were wrong. My “veggie” burrito was mostly cheese and sour cream. I would not recommend to anyone. I wish we had went to Nutmeg across the street (sadly, it was closing).

Great location, and ideal menu items. Tasty food for all times of the day that can be enjoyed by all family members.

Nice little drive through mexican place that is open late. I've hit it up a few times when I'm out east late at night. They are fast, and have a decent nacho bowl.

This place was soooo delicious! The cabeza tacos are were 5 for $8.50! The food was so good we got an additional plate of cabeza tacos!

Called in an order, it was ready ten minutes later when we got there.the food was amazing.the portions are huge.very worth it

Last couple times ive been here I havnt even been able to order food

They’ve been closing 15-20 minutes before closing time

They don’t even have common courtesy to atleast say something at the drive through. They just ignore the people

Recommendation: Carne Asada Fries
Taste is good, carne asada and toppings not necessarily amazing but can't beat the portion size for the price.

We ordered cheese and chips, cheese quesadilla.paid under $11. Quantities are huge but the quality is not so good.

I grew up in this area, and every time I come back this is the first place I go. Carne asada is the bomb

They supposedly close at midnight, but I Came here at 11: 20, and stood by the ordering sign patiently waiting for my order to be taken. A few minutes later they turn off all the lights and never once acknowledged me or said anything.

This is not expensive fine dinning, but rather tasty food at reasonable prices. I also enjoy that they have outside tables. I highly recommend their California Burrito.
