Brewery Ambitious Ales reviews
16Place is great. DJ is straight up rude and only about himself. Not good for the reputation of the brewery.
Great craft beer selection with new flavors monthly. Great indoor, front patio and backyard style seating with outdoor heating when needed. Cheers!
This place is amazing! One of the best I've been to! But honestly it's not 100% for the ales, but the atmosphere. Trigger warning: if you don't believe furry family deserves to dine with their human counterparts then woof off and meow you later (ok, that was cringe but I don't care).
Beer: 9/10
There are some decent options here! And they admitted to not having what I liked as an option, but I was pleased none the less with the brilliant bar tender who gave me generous samples. She was so sweet and knowledgeable, I would come back again and again just to have her take care of me. I'm sorry I don't have her name! I do hope they add a little bit of everything one day, but honestly I am not that picky and I was able to enjoy my beer regardless.
Service: 10/10
Just superb! Definitely the best part about this place is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I don't own a pooch but I believe dog owners are some of the best people out there! Some of you are still Karen's and Kevin's, but most of you are just so loving! So it's no wonder the place was so full of great energy. And not only is the facility dog friendly but it's family friendly too. They have a beer garden, which is just fancy for outside seating, but kids were back there running around and being their crazy selves. I am a single mom so I loved it! No one cares or rolled their eyes at the "unruly" kids and just minded their own business. I am in love with how the facility catered to the large bday party and made it a great evening for them and all the other patrons!
Atmosphere: 10/10
I said it several times and I'll say it again, so warm and welcoming. Everything is clean, visually appealing, the night time ambiance with the stringed lights is all I ever wanted
Food: 8/10
Not sure if the Korean taco spot is part of the company or it's own entity but it's there! The tacos were fire but the kimchi? Hard pass. $7/tiny jar and it's not that great. Not sure if it's their jarring practice or if it's their recipe but it was the worst kimchi I ever ate (I love that stuff), it was extremely acidic and had a flavor I couldn't put my finger on and definitely wasn't gonna use my tongue to find out but those tacos I will be back for. They had the best sweet and Smokey flavor, the beef and chicken were both cooked to perfection and the toppings were fresh. I mean.it doesn't get better than tacos and beer!
Overall I definitely recommend this place to any fellow hop lover who wants to drink around amazing energy and be provided with phenomenal service.
The team at Ambitious Ales is incredible! Jade is particularly great, but seriously everyone here will make sure that your experience here is great. The beer is better than anywhere you could try to go! I love the chill vibe everyone puts off here! What a dream!
Good brew, coffee blonde ale was interesting but partners with pizza store nextdoor for food options.
Great atmosphere good food and perfect customer service highly recommend stopping in for a beer and bite.
Creative names for all of their beers. Recommend checking out the pizza place next door, you can order from a QR code in ambitious ales
Been to a lot of breweries in the South Bay and Long Beach areas and i believe that ambitious ales makes the best beer
Supporting local business. Para sayo sour blond with calamansi is refreshing and crisp.
Came back to Ambitious for the Smoked and salt pop up, both beer and bbq didn't disappoint. I do wish that they would bring the para sayo beer back though.
This is my absolute favorite brewery in Long Beach. The atmosphere is great, the staff incredibly friendly, and they always have great pop-up food choices and events.
Good brew.
Altbeir was the best for me.
Recently went back for a birthday celebration - the staff was amazing. Great place to celebrate, highly recommend it! Thanks Ambitious!
Good but not great, should be more ambitious tbh. Lil fogger ain't too foggy so that's good nottooambious/10
What a fantastic place to arrive to after a long drive from the Bay Area! Every beer we've tried here (six) has been delicious!
These guys absolutely kill it. A decent variety of styles all done well, but my personal favorite is the coffee blonde. It drinks easy without any astringency whatsoever.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There's a large patio area so it's a great place to bring your dog. The pizza next door is stupidly good and will deliver to the brewery. They also usually have a pop-up for food in the back patio.
Overall this place is a quality hangout that I highly recommend. Cheers!
Cool spot, love the simple interior. A solid selection of beers. Their Coffee Blonde, Central Perk, is a must try.
Had a great time here. It's family friendly, and a great place to meet people. I met a woman. We had quite the conversation. Didn't have any food, just beers. The most interesting selection I have come across. I tried a whole bunch, yum. I would come here more often and a D. J.plays the music. There are simple games for intertainment (Have to come here more often), did I mention the hot girls that waitress here.
