Ambrogio15 Little Italy reviews
17Don't listen to the negative reviews, the pizza is awsome! Ordered the Special and Pepperoni, definatly coming back!
This could be one of the best margarita pizzas I've ever had. Crust is thin and well cooked, not soggy anywhere. The right amount of char on the bottom. Tomato sauce had a good, hanging flavor. Mozzarella it is good, and a good amount of Basil. The food court is kind of loud, but you can always take it outside.
This ain't Domino's Pizza. Look elsewhere if you want a giant pizza loaded with ten cheap toppings.
Service was quick. The food court dining area was fun both indoors and out. A variety of food options in the Little Italy food court. The young man who took our order was friendly and had a great personality. The food was okay. We tried the gluten free vegan cheese, margherita, and hannibal lecter pizzas in addition to a caesar salad. The salad was delicious but needed more dressing. Pizzas were prepared to order and were quick. The taste was okay.
Pizza was served cold, they initially messed up the order (did not include olives on pizza), but then threw cold olives on top and served it back to us. Not a great experience.
Incredible pizza. Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Very high quality ingredients and simply delicious. I got the Margherita pizza while my boyfriend got pepperoni. He agreed that his pizza was also one of the best.
Best Pizza in Little Italy, hands down! The Prosciutto and Burrata is so yummy i can't even begin to describe, you don't want to miss that! And the salamino piccante is perfectly spicy! 10/10
Amazing Italian pizza! All the product are fresh and organic. They the best!
Update 08/07/21: after 2 years I just went back to this place. What can i tell you! A really bad experience. I ordered 2 pizzas. 1 margarita and 1 perciuto. The crust of both pizza was totally burned, the tomato sauce tasteless and the perciuto the worst I ever tried. I don't know what happened to this place that started in a perfect direction and now they at the lowest level.
I hope the owner will find a way to make it back to its original quality!
I had to throw this pizza away since it was a one big piece of burnet crunchy staff, burnet not enough tomato sauce and barely can see the mozzarella cheese
Gross and burnet pizza. Do not eat in there, you will spend your money on bad food. Go to landini by the slice pizza, its way better and cheaper
If I could have given fewer stars, I would have. The Pizza lacked flavor, the crust was soggy, and overall, not memorable. I won’t be back.
I got the house salad, the spicy salami pizza, and two diet cokes- cost $30. I def do appreciate the process for the pizza; it’s high quality ingredients and fire oven are staples. Best pizza in San Diego? I’d say top 5 for little Italy.
Delicious pizza but their system for notifying you if your food is ready is not great. You get an email saying that the order has been received but no email saying that the food is ready for pickup. Recommend re-thinking the system to avoid pizza sitting there on the counter waiting. Staff was very friendly also!
This is absolutely the worst pizza you can find in San Diego. Sauce is disgusting and the crust is cardboard. Don’t eat this
Employee wasn't wearing a mask, or any kind of face covering. Not while cooking, nor while speaking to customers. Repeatedly went around the plastic barrier between the customer and employee to talk to the customers.
It's a shame, because the pizza was good ($15 and the size of a frozen pizza - but pretty solid). But I won't be likely coming back until the pandemic is over if they'll be that flippant about not caring about customers health and well being.
This is THE best Pizza in San Diego. They have already established themselves with their Pacific Beach location. Happy to see them in Little Italy. Quick and easy, yet so delicious lunch & dinner options.
The crust was thin and this was good since it looked like real Italian (roman) pizza. However it was burning hot, impossible to keep in your hands, falling everywhere since it was too soft. If you consider that you have to be standing or sitting on those long tables this will make clear how uncomfortable it is the whole experience.
