AMC Marina Marketplace 6 reviews
22I think it's a great affordable theater if not looking for all those extras. Seats are comfy and parking is free!
Extremely poor design of seats and screens. The floor in the theater does not slant screenwards, so all seats are at the same level. Bottom of the screen is blocked off by the top of the seat ahead of you.
One of my favorites. Always less people, less crowded in compare to AMC Marina Dine-In, or AMC 4/7. Restrooms are clean, popcorn/soda taste great, staff seems friendly.
They don't have 3D screenings of 3D movies (excluding Star Wars of course), and they don't have recliner chairs.
Seat's don't recline. Place is just okay. Would pay more for next door but bought tickets at wrong spot lol
This is one of my favorite branches to visit at night as I stay at a motel around 5 mins.away. I just watched "Frozen II" free after using the COSTCO pass & ordering some regular popcorn discounted by the AMC Premiere Pass.
I think that the original delivered more spark in snowflakes (figuratively & literally, not politically) than this so-so sequel (too personal). There was one song which amusingly reminded me of a music video by Peter Cetera which I couldn't seem to put my finger on. The songs were OK, but I couldn't find a good one for the animation theme.
Affordable theater, clean, easy access. I went into labor watching a movie there, so it's a special place for me ;)
I love seeing a movie here. Small but large enough to see a movie without having to fight the crowd or stand in a very long line at the concession stand. Best of all, any movie before 12 noon is only $6.49
I know it's a debate, but I hate having to choose my seat. Good thing about the theater is I usually find a seat and parking is convenient. Better to join the premium Club because regular prices are a little bit more than competitive theaters. The popcorn is fresh but no refill unless you remember. I have loved this theater for over 30 years with that in mind give it a try.
For the price, they should check their theaters. Loud people w/ smart phones lighting up and making noise. Manager girl is about 19, acts like 14, very unprofessional, could care less of your enjoyment.
AMC practices age discrimination in their hiring. Proven by interviews at 4 theaters with middle-age applicants not hired. Try applying for a job there if you're over 40. Look around the theater, they only hire people under 20.
I wish the theaters in my area adopted the 21 and over policy.
Sadly they haven't, so whenever we're in town we take advantage of it here!
Come check it out! Its amazing. Wish I could have watched Incredibles 2 here.
Nice theater with very comfortable seating and good projection and sound. Also, parking is pretty easy and free.
COMFORTABLE THEATRE, BUT WE DISLIKE VERY MUCH TO HAVE TO CHOSE OUR SEATS, WE LIKE 1ST COME 1ST SERVE BETTER!
Totally had a great experience watching a house with the clock on its walls great experience totally clean fantastic staff
Nice, updated seats, even though they're not recliners. Ticket price is much less than the AMC across the street. Theater was clean and the AC was on through the entire movie (unlike the other theater that turns off the AC once the movie starts and practically suffocates the audience).
This is NOT the dine in theater. It is a super old theater about a 3 minute walk from the dine in theater. There is NO stadium seating, all chairs are on the floor and the screen is up high. It is like every row is the front row. The seats are comfy so they have that going for them at least.
Very nice clean establishment customer service was on point not a big selection of food (standard items) restrooms are clean. I remember when this place used to be the UA Theater brang back some good old memories. Also you cannot go wrong on $5 Tuesdays.
Shopping, grocery store, drug store, banking, shoe stores, Fatburger, pizza, Ice cream and fine dining and a Movie Theaters with comfortable leather seats! What more can you ask for
Seemed under staff, had to wait at am empty box office toll am employee came, then no one checked our tickets when we walked in or told is which direction our theater was. The bathroom smelled like and looked like no one had cleaned it in the last week, the carpet to get to theater 5 and 6 looked like someone moved bags of fertilizer over it and it smelled to. Wont be coming back any time soon.
