I have a credit score of 765 and i have to pay 1200$ interest on a 5000$ loan that is insane. If you have good credit please look elsewhere.

They seem to be very stressed. From my observation and after having conversations with 2 seemingly well informed yet rude associates over the phone a lot of the negative reviews come from them not being able to accept payments over the phone. I was told that they are in the process of setting up a “call center” to accept online payments.
In summary;
They talk OVER you.
Refuse payments over the phone.
Expect this to be fixed in two months from Feb/14/2020
Expect me to believe that setting up a PayPal account takes two months.

I would not recommend this company to small car dealership looking to build a company.

Worst company ever! I’ve been making my payments on time for the past 3 years and my loan doesn’t go down at all. Worst customer service I would not recommend this company.

They still money from customers! I have a customer that has been making her payments for the last 3 years On time and her balance does not seem to go down she has never missed one payment and her billing statement says that her bill is due September and we are in July but they still told her that she’s past due she’s missing payments which makes no sense Best advice would be go somewhere else screw this company

Scanless way of operation. They do everything in their power to make it more difficult for you to retrieve your vehicle! If you are already going through a tough time, they will make it tougher.

I had made many arrangements in the past with American Auto Financing and less than a year to pay off the car I was financing they took my car after missing 2 calls and 34 days past due. To get my car out they wanted just shy of $1200 and laughed at my wife when she called hysterically about it. I will never suggest them as a finance company.

Quite possibly the worst financial experience you can have. Literally do not miss a single payment with this company. Any mistake on your end and it’s extra fees. Any missed payment and they try to repo your car. Avoid this company at all cost!

This place is a joke! Rude unhelpful customer service. I called 3 times and all 3 times got nowhere.

I have been doing business with this institution for over 10 years. They treat customers with respect and go beyond to help everyone. I'm so fortunate to have AAF on our side; keep up the good work.

These guys are great. I've been doing business with them for 9 years now and i always get helped out and or pointed in the right direction. They do business the way it should be done. The receptionist are friendly and the managers are always willing to try and make things easier on me.

American Auto Finance has helped me so much with customers that didn't deserve a 2nd chance but they have stepped up for me and help to re-astablishing their credit. Have been paying on my loan for 2 uears now at 24.99%apr and went to apply for a home loan at my bank (a credit union), and found out the they have never reported my credit progress. So I get no points or credit history for paying my payment.
NONE!
I have had great customer service but I really needed this to show on my credit report. Thats the whole reason I have put up with the high apr.
