Our technician, Israel, was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He arrived on time, listened to our requests and did an excellent re-treatment of our home.

I rarely post reviews on services received but I was very happy with American City Pest & Termite and thought they warranted a positive review.

Over the weekend, I found what I thought were termites in the eaves that I was preparing to paint. On Monday I called AC and they came out the next morning to provide an inspection. Raul came out on time and performed the inspection. The soft wood turned out to be dry rot but since he was there, I had them inspect the rest of the house. He did find subterranean termites in the garage and explained how they work and assured me that I would not need to vacate the house but just clear out that part of the garage. It did take them a week to get back to me with a quote but it turned out to be a very reasonable price. I gave them the go-ahead and set a date and time for the termite treatment and replacing the wood beam that had dry rot.

Raul and a team-mate came right on time and completed all the work in a few hours. He explained how they treated the termites and how the colony would die off. The work on the wooden beam looked great. Thank you American City.

For 15 years Rick Solorzano has been my monthly wonderful reliable Professional American City Pest Control Inspector. Rick calls 30 minutes before our appointments to reconfirm every visit. Besides rebaiting my rodent traps (my fruit trees bring lots of hungry visitors) Rick also annually rebaits replaces fresh traps in my Attic.

Had the pleasure of meeting technician Remy today for a termite problem. He took his time educating me on the different types of termites, how they exist and their behaviors. Now I know what to look out for and am less afraid of them (for ex, they don’t carry diseases). Remy was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! I went with him to the attic where he took his time looking around for dead wings and droppings, which he found. Then he drilled holes in the wood and filled them with a foaming spray that’s supposed to kill them. I also learned swarming season runs from August - November and because ours isn’t the only unit that has a termite problem, I’m sure I’ll be calling him to return but for now, I feel better knowing something was done about it. Overall, it was an absolute pleasure having Remy as my technician and I’d highly recommend him!
