American Medical Response reviews
2This company is horrible and if you have a loved one that is black I would think twice before calling 911. They have a medic that they are aware of that is clearly Racist. He feels comfortable with no only disrespect black patient but black medical professionals as well. I have been a trauma nurse for 17 years and have never experienced a company that knowingly employs someone with clear Racial Bais. Who openly and admittedly makes racist comments towards black people without any consequences.
Last night we called for an ambulance. I have never been treated so poorly in my whole quadriplegic life. The paramedics were rude, spoke very few words to me upon arrival, climbed on my bed frame stepped all over my bare air mattress with his wet muddy boots on, wouldnt take me to my preferred hospital. The other paramedic Yelled and argued with me when i refused service and asked to be taken back into my home, they had no regard for my condition and made feeL so unsafe nd disrespected that I'm now anxious and fearful of retribution from their other counter parts that I have yet to be treated for my condition. My bed doesn't properly function now as well since climbing on it! One of the horrific experiences of my life. Human beings in need for medical care should never be treated this way!
