American Tire & Brake reviews
7I received courteous and professional service. Always willing to go the extra mile. Definitely 5 stars!
I read good reviews. Got there. Nobody cared. Got there 2 hours before they closed one guy said I wouldn't be able to get an alignment that day. Mmmhhh.
I went in for an oil change. The owner Stan was professional and curtious. And very reasonable. I would recommend this place.
I've been taking my cars there for over twenty years. Juan is an excellent mechanic. I miss israel (he retired). They stand behind their work and are fair priced.
Excellent service on a Special Order. Received the tires in a timely manner and even got a price match that ended up saving me almost $200!
Friendly ownership and locally owned owner present. Gets the job done and takes time to explain the job in its start to finish before doing the work so your understandi g what needs to be done and what if any options maybe. Fair pricing.
I specially asked to have the brake slide pins lubricated on my 2008 BMW M5. I was quoted $30 by the shop attendant over the phone. They did the “assessment” and said I needed a $1300 front brake job because “my whole front end is all jacked up” and that they tested my rotors and found that they were warped. I went over and found only one wheel off the car and my brake caliper hanging by the brake line. Not supporting the caliper can cause damage to the bake line and shows a lack of care by the mechanic. When I asked the mechanic about the caliper he blew me off. I told him to lube the slide pins and put it back together. I was then told the price was going to be $130. We went back-and-forth a few times and finally settled on $60.
Did lubricating the slide pins eliminate the issue, Yes!
Would I recommend anyone take their vehicle to this shop, no!
