American Veterinary Hospital of Simi Valley

Not a quality vet in my opinion. Very dry personality and did not provide insight for the complications we experienced with our dog. It was obvious he was unsure. I was charged for both appointments even after having to return from initial visit error. The admin and other office staff were nice but unprofessional in appearance. Our dog was examined and treated with medication that did not provide ANY healing and furthermore no alternative strategies were offered other than more drug to try. Then I was given a recommendation to optomologist, which should have been shared initially if he wasn’t sure! The Initial medicine and prescription did nothing but further worsen symptoms. My dog is suffering and have to take time out to find a second opinion. I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend or return.

After spending $500+ on a visit for suspected cat flu, the first three days were good. But now a week later, she is right back to where she was before the visit?
