I don't know who needs to hear this, from one Dad to another, yes this place is kid friendly. I brought my son on a Friday with no appointment and a disaster of a butchered homemade haircut. OldTimeJ was happy to squeeze us in and not only did he do a hell of a rescue operation, his customer service skills are top tier anywhere in the world. He is truly skilled at his craft and is great to watch in action. My 9 year old son felt like a king while in the chair and left with so much confidence. 10/10 would recommend.

Was in real serious need of a clean up… haircut, beard trim, the full deal. Old Time J took great care of me. I told him what I was looking for and he took his time getting me super cleaned up. Even threw in a little care package.

Can’t recommend him enough, solid work and an even more solid dude.

Got a haircut here for the 3rd time and I gotta say this barbershop doesn't miss. Steven cut my hair today and he did an amazing job on the fade. It was cool that they took a short notice appointment since my barber was out of town this month and my other shop was booked up until the next day. Great services, might be on the pricier side but it's not over priced at all because the barbers go above and beyond.

Was able to call and grab an appointment quickly. Loved the haircut from Lilia, she was thoughtful and considerate of style ideas but also gave great feedback and was hospitable

Highly recommend! I’ve been seeing OldTimeJ for several months for haircuts and my hot shaves since I moved to Long Beach. This gentleman is talented, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his clients. The other barbers are polite, chill, and otherwise fun to be around. The shop is super welcoming and everyone greets you when you walk through the door.

Definitely a place I would love to come back to! First time there. Got my cut from Tony. Dude was professional and very understanding. Wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair but he talked me through different options and I left feeling great with the turnout! Very detailed and very clean. Really enjoyed the shop and talking with the other barbers as well!

I had my hair cut by Tony. I love the haircut I got l. Was quick clean and super detailed at the same time! The way he shaped the cut to my head make it last a long time and didn’t look weird once it started growing! Would really recommend this shop!
