America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses reviews
17Ask for Kristine! She was wonderful and answered all of my questions and concerns. She definitely knows her stuff. Any first time people should come to her!
Good pricing and fast service! Nicole was great and informed me about everything I needed to know when purchasing my first pair. Very efficient with her work.
Great selection and good prices. The staff is great and Nicole was very helpful during the process of getting my next pair of glasses.
This was the best experience. Everyone was efficient and friendly. Nicole was especially knowledgeable and helpful.
Overall, very pleasant experience. The doctors and rest of the staff were great and very friendly. Nicole at the front helped me and she was very clear in explaining anything that i had questions about. She really went above and beyond to make sure that I would be happy with my glasses. I definitely recommend America’s Best:)
This was such a quick, informative, polite, and genuinely fun experience getting glasses. I’m looking forward to my next eye exam!
Went in for new glasses for my 7 year old. Nicole helped us and was absolutely great with him! She was entertaining all his questions and even talked Pokemon with him! She even went a step beyond and called around to find his glasses that are now discontinued. I'm very happy that we had Nicole helping us!
Kristine is wonderful. My husband brought in glasses because he couldn't use them. She noticed that the prescription was wrong but, he brought in his distance glasses. She was very patient with us and allowed me to run home and get the right glasses.
Very reasonably priced. Doctor was professional and got the prescription correct. Everyone was courteous.
OMG was able to get in & out with ease, + my daughter was able to choose 2/pairs of eye glasses & customize to her needs.
+ the associate who helped us saved me even more $money $$.
Should anyone be in the market for eye exams or reading glasses etc.
Then go to AMERICAS BEST ask for that cool guy Landon he’ll get you in & out looking your best!
Melissa G. Guarantees it. ️️️️️
What a scam! Don't go here. They kept us there for hours, I can NOT see at all with glasses i recieved. We should do a class action suit
Santa Rosa, CA 9-13-23. Phone answering for location was problematic. I was told the store was not near Macy’s when it’s fairly close around the corner. Staff needs to make sure the whole process, including finding the store, is positive. No one wants to hear a store name and park nearby only to look and look and end up walking an unnecessarily longer distance. Phones need to be answered so customers aren’t frustrated by wait times over ten minutes.
I was greeted on entering the store but the person was not smiling or welcoming. When told about the parking close by issue and long wait time on the phone, I didn’t feel heard and no apology was given. So I went to wait for the doctor still feeling frustrated. I was asked if I wanted additional testing for $30, which was declined due to seeing my regular ophthalmologist. All testing fees should be disclosed prior to exam scheduling.
The eye doctor, Efrem Prada, O. D, was excellent, personable and professional. He was very good at accommodating my high prescription for contacts and found a good alternative. Rey nice man; he did his job excellently.
Nicole waited on me to select glasses frames, and she was very easy to talk to and was very fun to work with. She was very thorough in checking out the order form and had a manager go over it for accuracy. When I called back later to pay for the order, she was not even told initially that she had a call on hold. More manners needed there. Why make the paying customer wait unnecessarily?
Wow - How do you define an insured eye exam? After my first visit today, my eyes are wide open. I have been having regular eye exams for over 30 years - all of them have included the use of optometry machines that provide evaluation on the health of your eyes.
As a result of new insurance, I decided to try America's Best because they were listed as accepting my insurance. Once in the exam room, the technician explained to me that I would need to pay an additional $30 for what is common practice for other eye exams. Given my $10 co-pay, what is my insurance actually paying for. The excuse given to me by the tech was that these tests may be included in a "private practice" but not at their company.whiskey tango foxtrot! Is this company a "Publicly Traded Company"? What does that mean?
The excuse made no sense and didn't sit well since I was trying to establish a relationship with this company.so I explained it wasn't about paying $30 - it was about the "up-sell" for an exam that I've always received at other practices and that as a result of not respecting their business practices, I needed to stop everything and leave. I know the tech was doing her job - and by her reaction, I wasn't the first person who pushed back on her trying to sell this bitter pill. Just be aware that this is this companies M. O.
These people will not help you unless you’ve already spend money with them. They say they “accept outside prescriptions” but I came in with one and then they said they only carry contact lenses in stock in their brand. So basically I’d have to see their doctor and get a new prescription just to get contacts. This morning I split my last pair of contacts so I asked if I could at least have a trial pair - “not unless you see our doctor”. They did say they could order some so i’ll give them one star for that. But that’s truly false advertising.
Amazing experience! Dr. Prada was so professional and kind. Anna and Shayne helped me pick out my glasses. They were both so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend America’s Best, Santa Rosa.
Alyssa has wonderful customer service. I appreciate her efforts to make sure I loved my glasses. Thank you!
I had a wonderful experience. The staff was polite, the exam was fast and the tech, Anna was very helpful and informative when helping me pick out frames. She also did a great job breaking down the costs and discounts for me. I’d recommend America’s best to anyone looking for great prices, good service and a pleasant experience.
