DO NOT STAY HERE! Pay a few $$ more and upgrade. 1) Parking lot disgusting; kept expecting hookers/ druggies to show up. No place for pets to potty! So there's poop everywhere. 2) Property very run down: door had 1/2" gap in it; toilet was broken; sink was broken; faucet/ shower handles kept coming off; hair dryer didn't work; fridge missing shelving; bathroom door would not shut. & more. 3) bathroom so small had to leave door open to use toilet - im not very big. 4) ONLY 2 TOWELS! For 4 guests.: requested more but they wouldn't give them to me. When room was cleaned.yes, only 2 towel's given.
I will say that the room appeared clean. The smell of cleaning agent was almost overwhelming. My recommendation is to spend an extra $20 and go somewhere else.
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

I decided to stay at this property from August 9-11,2023. My entire experience was quite unfortunate. I experienced more cons than pros.

Pros:
-The fridge was spacious and cold
-The A/C was nice
-Convenient location

Cons:
-Stains on the sheets
-Bed bugs
-Dog/cat hair on the chair
-Room keys stopped working out of nowhere
-The bathroom sink was a little moldy
-The wifi connection was poor
-Old, musty smell in the main lobby and the room

I would not recommend staying here at all. Absolutely unacceptable.

I have stayed at this motel dozens of times. I like it because you can park your car right at your motel door. Lately the prices are a little high!

UPDATE! So I stayed again for three nights. Let me tell you. I will never be going back to this hotel, even if offered free. The floors are grimey and sticky! Your feet or socks become black from the disgusting floor. Hole's in walls, paint missing. There are huge cockroaches everywhere! My tv didn't work at all and could not be fixed. And no other rooms were available. Website advertises free continental breakfast, hasn't offered it in 5 years. A lot of homeless.

Pros: A/C Worked, convenient location, plenty of parking, pet-friendly, TV worked

Cons: Non-smoking room reeked of smoke including the sheets, toilet leaking all over floor, socks black from walking on floor, very run down, not very clean, no maid service. In extreme need of remodel. Left early and stayed elsewhere.

Been coming up for years but considering other options now. Roaches, homeless people, shower momentarily shifts to scalding every several seconds, shower and body gel dispenser did not work, floor is beyond filthy, and no breakfast as advertised. Plus Oroville Dam Road has become a race track. Too much noise for those 60 years old walls. On a different note, the front desk folks are all kind and responsive.

You get what you pay for. During college graduation weekend, this is the most affordable lodging I could find. Well, note to self, either book well in advance, or pay more for a better experience elsewhere.

The positives on this property:
- The front desk gal was outstanding. She was kind, helpful, and when we checked into our hotel room and saw our sheets were not cleaned, she gave us freshly-washed warm sheets. I appreciate her care to the travelers that stay at this property.
- Another plus was the newly installed flat screen tv, as well as, the hardwood and tile flooring. You can tell renovations and improvements are slowly being made.
- The air conditioning keeps the room ice cold!

The downfalls on this property:
- We knew the room was clean because we could smell the amount of bleach that was used to clean the room. Our sheets unfortunately where not changed. There were hair strands and food crumbs when I pulled off the sheets as we were getting ready for bed. Had to get new sheets from the front office and put them on myself.
- This whole hotel property needs a facelift. It does not feel welcoming or safe at all.
- The air vent in the bathroom (stayed in RM 115) was extremely dusty. When we went to turn on the air vent so we could shower, there was a smokey smell lingering.
- There was no body wash, or shampoo for the shower.

At the end of the day, this was meant to just be a place to sleep and shower. It served its purpose, yet would not recommend staying here until some improvements have been made. Thank you for having me!

Just a so so room for not a so so price ($145). Guy at desk was nice but the people in all 3or4 rooms down from us partied til like four am and it wasn't just alcohol. A guy knocked on our door mistaking our SUV for his dealers which freaked us out. We wish we could have been moved to a room away from Ibiza central. We came to see table mountain as I do every year but next year I think I'll go to Anza or the carizzo plains.

I booked this place because we came for a hike at Table Mountain and we were too far away for it to be a day trip. This hotel had the best cancellation policy (3days before) the weather this spring 2023 was so protean we needed to be able to cancel at the “last” minute—others had a one week policy.

So when we arrived at 530 I went to the side “night” window because they were undergoing remodeling in their lobby. She took literally 23 minutes to process me. It was kinda cold towards evening and the coldest wettest winter/spring we had in a long time. She couldn’t find me and claimed I had no reservations. Then I showed her my email proof. She claimed computer was slow. She took 7 minutes before she opened the window to talk to me, she had been in the phone. In the meanwhile 3 other guests needed helped and queued up behind me. Finally I got everything. I inquired about the promised breakfast. She says there was none and the website would not allow them to change it. I mean even if it’s being remodeled they could’ve created Togo bags with a few items or something. (We had that happen during Covid)

The room was pretty clean but obviously old. I liked that the floor was not carpeted so it could be kept cleaner. Integrity bed was comfortable enough (I have high quality bed at home) so if it was horrible I would feel it. The only not really clean things were the comforter but no hotel ever washes those. The sheets which my body touches were very clean. Only real complaint was two towels though it was supposed to be for four people (though only three of us made it)

The area was ok. Someone was smoking weed in the car parked near our door so I felt a bit sick. We felt safe enough inside our room not sure about the city though and that stretch might’ve been a bit sketchier than where the Chinese restaurant was.

One negative was the adjoining room we were attached to. It was locked so safe but they were smoking (probably illegally) and the smoke wafted into our room. The neighbor to the right was noisy with children til 1100pm (a small one prob 4-5yo) I would’ve thought they needed sleep earlier… otherwise we passed the night pretty well.

In the middle of the night this loud beeping sound started coming from the fire alarm way up high on the wall. It continued every few minutes. I called the front desk person who told me it was too late for me to switch rooms. It was four in the morning and checkout time wasn't til eleven.

I'll start by saying the evening service gal was outstanding. Very helpful with whatever simple things u need. The rooms are very dated but clean. The plumbing is a bit shifty I got scalded with random bursts of hot water in the shower. So not awesome. And the location well it's downtown Oroville so nothing but zombies moving around all night screaming and yelling trying to steal anything u forget to lock up. I think I paid 125 a night after tax. I'd pay 80 bucks for this room tops if I was in a pinch and had nowhere else to go. It will work if u come in late and crash but other than that I'd look for something further out of Oroville.
