Amerikhan Mongolian Grill reviews
17Was ok first time I've seen noodles cooked on a grill with so much water wish I knew a head of time most of my sauce was washed off
Today we had our lunch at this place, try this place i like it. You can choose your favorite meat and vegetables, give it to the chef he will cook it for you. You have to choose everything for you, meat, vegetables, sauce, garlic, chilly, chef only doing is cooking, we enjoy it today. Thank yield guys. Foods are really delicious, #california #mongolianfoods
Okay in a pinch, but The noodles, meats and sauces just are not quite the same as places like stir fresh Mongolian grill.
Love this place,
Don't be shy pile your bowl up.
Always amazing food cooked in front of you.
Staff is always awesome.
I know the food is good that's why I ran here from my house a half mile away to get here before they closed. Ran into the mall, 7: 45 perfect I have 15 minutes. I can smell the food already I'm so excited. Run into the restaurant, they are cleaning but I don't feel bad because I'm getting it to go and Iran all the way here. Walk up to the counter and the girl tells me oh sorry we just closed. I look at my watch. 7: 47pm thanks alot.
So bomb! Needs a better job at cleaning the bar though. The cooks are always so nice. The ingredients are also fresh and don't look old. Def recommend
After all these years, this place still ROCKS!
Although Covid has changed their set-up inside, it's still the same great concept. Load-up your own bowl, add your own toppings, Sauces & flavors, & the Chef grills it on the flat top.
Mongolian bbq is my favorite. This place is very good. But I have 2 complaints and I hope they see this and actually take action and listen to their loyal customers ok 1st complaint is that they need to change it back to how it use to be where the cook adds the the noodle for you because it gets really hard and messy when you try to add it yourself pls change it back. Number 2. For the big bowl put an actual bigger bowl because it’s literally almost the same size as the small bowl and you charging extra for something that’s not worth the bump in price $17 plus tax I ended paying like $21 dollars it’s kinda a ripoff need to get a bigger bowl for that price.
Tried this place after getting super hungry hanging out at round one. At 1st glance this place looked really nice the décor was really nice and the restaurant looked new. The cooking area seemed clean so was excited to try the food. My 1st thought was the sticker shock from the price I understand that there is inflation but $18 for a Super Bowl seem pretty steep. I tried to fill the bottom of the bowl with as much meat as I could they had a good selection of vegetables and then noodles loked great. There only had a couple choices where the sauces one was the teriyaki sauce and 1 was the Amerikhan house sauce and a lemon sauce as well. I went with the house sauce and found it to be a bit bitter. It didn't have the best flavor and made the rest of the dish have an off putting taste in my opinion. For almost 20 bucks I was really expecting more which doesn't surprise me because it is a mall foodcourt. Too bad.
3.00 extra for substitute rice because their noodles aren’t gluten free. I found rice wasn’t included as free substitute after I paid. Food had very little flavor from the sauce. I have work in the food industry as a cook. This place should be closed! Awful!
I’ve always loved this place and the cooks are always so welcoming and kind to me. I grew up coming here and I’m glad to see it do well
Can’t say I recommend this over the alternatives in LA; unfortunately if you’re craving Mongolian it’s either this or going deep into SD. The way it’s setup, in comparison to other businesses of this nature, is very stingy. Additionally there is a serious lack of flavor unless you nuke your food in sauces. The prices are relative to other locations, but honestly it’s not a place to write home about that’s for sure.
Food was decent. Soda didn't have syrup, and staff was hesitant on switching it for a WATER. They tried to feel the weight to see if any was drank. We were JUST in line, I took a sip. Eventually he switched it. That alone was a negative experience
This is the place I'll drive 80 miles just to have to get my fix that's the best it's clean it's very organized you can have as much or as little of all the ingredients you want and they cook it up on that grill with all the spices that you put on it the oils the chilies the garlics you name it whatever you want you got it coz in your bowl piping hot and if you haven't tried it you are really missing out
For $17 dollars for a single plate and no extras, I expected them to cook it with actual Mongolian bbq sauce and not JUST water. The entire plate is completely flavorless from being grilled in just water.
Really good food, pretty good waiting experience too, they show the process of making your food, honestly would come here again.
A sensual food experience. Would highly recommend to everyone I know.would go out of my way a 40 minute drive from my house just to taste the sweet Mongolian ecstacy. Go with the super size bowl, you won't be sorry.
