Gorgeous, luxurious living space. The architecture of AMLI housing is posh whilst being highly functional and structurally elevated. Had a great time visiting.

I want the entire World to know that in all my years (73) I have never lived in a more wonderful apartment home!
My new AMLI Family is more than awesome.
Life at the AMLI is spectacular.living so close on the Waterfront with the boats, nice people, a wonderful little cafe
(The Hive) directly on the premises with tasty snacks/breakfast/lunch.
. Never a dull moment.my Studio apartment is more like a 1 Bedroom and feels so comfortable with lots of sun-light coming in thru my windows.my view is the courtyard.i see residents laughing talking walking their dogs and even bar b.q-ing.
. My place is right off the elevator, so i can look out a huge (seems like 20 feet) window and have a Million Dollar View!
Its great getting up daily, going into WorkSpace on 1st floor, enjoying a Free Mack-a-Chino Coffee/Hot Coca.i bring my cookies and share with others lol:)
I was on the Waiting list to live in AMLI since 2018. It was worth the 5 years wait.and when Jeremy V.sent me the Email that a studio unit was available it took me less than 30 seconds to answer his email! Lol
Its impossible to get bored here.there is a gym, roof top views a club house and salted pool: and other beautiful facilities.
. Last month we had Free movies and Ice Cream day.before that we had Free Hamburgers day for us residents. Delicious!
So, if you are looking for a Clean and Friendly place to live you should make an Appointment with Leasing: Jeremy is Great and so is Paige, Glenda, Gracie, Denny and Ori can also assist.
One more thing: living at the AMLI is good for your Health and Peace of Mind. Im 73 and growing younger healthier daily.
I recommend living at The AMLI if you want to feel safe and live in a more than Gorgeous Apartment Home:)

I’ve lived at AMLI for 2+ years on the first floor of building six.

Pros:
The location is convenient, the amenities are good, they do some fun events and I’ve found the management responsive.

Con:
The floors between units are VERY thin which makes it loud for even the lightest of people living above you. If you’re trying to sleep it’s infuriating, otherwise it’s just a nuisance. I’ve heard this same complaint from other residents not on the top floor and I’ve have had multiple different tenants live above me.

I decided to move out because the noise from the unit above me makes it impossible to sleep which outweighs all the positives of the complex.

Lived here for 3 years. Amenities and location are a bonus but they do try and scam you with returning your deposit. Once we left the property they charged us $300 for replacing the carpet after they pulled the carpet up from the floor and allegedly saw stains underneath- despite the fact that they observed the surface of the carpet to be in perfect condition. They declined to
provide any photographic evidence of this. Unconscionable.

Every summer, the AC unit in the gym mysteriously stops working just as the AMLI’s electricity bill starts to increase. In fact, it’s down right now and the gym is a complete oven. Last year, it took them two months to fix it. Right in time for lower temperatures.

A shout to all the leasing staff in particular to Glenda! She was extremely professional and knowledgeable during the leasing process. She streamlined the application and move-in taking little time getting the job done. She follows thru beyond your move-in date and is a master of multi-tasking. Thank you to Glenda and your colleagues!

I loved my experience here. Best building in marina and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury building close to the beach. Quiet and beautiful with all the amenities and staff are so helpful and kind. Such an amazing experience!

AMLI is the place where I enjoy living every single day - starting from how great it feels inside the apartment to the small dog park where my dog enjoys staying at… I love bringing friends to my new AMLI home as this is something I am very proud of! Highly, highly recommended. #AMLImylove

Jeremy Vasquez, the new property manager, is excellent and so is the entire leasing staff. They truly want you to enjoy living at AMLI. I especially appreciate Jeremy for working with us on a recent issue with a noisy neighbor. In business, stuff happens! It’s how the company deals with it that makes the difference. This is where the AMLI team does a good job.

The maintenance team is also great. Shout out to Jesse, Felipe, and Hugo!

If you are considering AMLI, or any newer construction in the area, you should understand that LEED constructions is awful. It’s not the noise left or right of you, but up above. You will be unhappy if you get a disrespectful neighbor above you. I suggest the 5th floor as posted by others, Also, if you are noisy, you should consider a first floor unit so as not to disrupt the lives of your neighbors. It’s just respectful and in good taste!

After a little over a year here at AMLI, I want to share my experience solely for prospective tenants. The marina is one of the best places to live in Los Angeles. If you're considering relocating here: do it. Your quality of life will increase drastically. However, think twice about this building. It is not at all what it appears to be.

From the outside, the property is aesthetically stunning. All the amenities appear refined, the location looks great in photos, & it’s super fun to have friends come over. The maintenance staff is also incredible (leasing office folks could definitely take a few pointers from them). That's truly where the list of pros ends.

Construction of the units is awful (you will see this talked about in many reviews - it is a real problem). We were fortunate to live on a top floor unit, which in theory would eliminate the noise that travels between floors. However, we quickly realized we were living on top of folks with above average hearing, greatly bothered by music playing from computers and laptops. So bothered, they scaled the building one night and banged on my window with a broom (yes, scaled to a 5th floor window from a 4th floor balcony). Besides the extreme level of panic this caused me, a female home alone late at night, the response from management to “wear AirPods” instead of playing things out loud was…disappointing, to say the least.

Additionally, there are MAJOR security issues in the building. We’ve had a bicycle taken apart in an attempt to remove it from a bike lock. I’ve been chased down my hallway by an intoxicated homeless person who was attempting to breach someones unit. Upon reporting this incident to management, their only response was, “Did you let this person in? ” I’m sorry…what?

When choosing a place to live, especially at this price range, security and communication are bottom line requirements. When you live in a city like Los Angeles, things will happen. It is the unfortunate truth. However, the complete disregard for the tenants of AMLI by management, beyond receiving rent payments, leaves you to fend for yourself in any type of uncomfortable situation. It is nothing more than an overpriced dorm for influencers.the pool is a Vegas party every weekend, condoms in the bathrooms, emergency vehicles on site at least once a week. If you’re looking for something more than that…look elsewhere.

Sadly full of Airbnbs and third party rentals the managements does nothing to deter them at all.alot of outsiders using facilities even when we report them to the management they do nothing.very lazy staff and overpriced for a concrete jungle

UPDATE you notice they don’t address the concerns just say to contact management.which shows they make no effort but want to pretend they do

I just moved into AMLI and I could not be happier! Mallory & team are incredible. The place is beautiful, clean, safe and the amenities are second to none. If you're looking for a place in LA you've found your spot! Thanks AMLI!
