Great range of different music CDs from all genres. Also includes a wide array of DVDs, media and merchandise from all of your favourite artists. Every time in in Los Angeles I have to drop by Amoeba Music. In the digital age where everything is streamed and/or downloaded etc, I love still being able to physically purchase music and collect various albums, and other media of the artists I listen to. Ameoba Music is also a historical landmark and definitely one of them places that history speaks for itself. Like HMV Oxford Street in London, this is one of them Record stores for serious music lovers.
Amoeba Music has so many cool stuff for people who love music and movies. I have come here a few times with friends and we always enjoy our experience! I often come here to buy cds and used cds to add to my playlist. Its in Downtown Los Angeles so parking is you know.
You need to allow at least a couple of hours to browse this place. More than just music, lots of paraphernalia as well

Great store to find a wide selection of entertainment merchandise but not the place to sell your movies and comics. They pay you unreasonably low.
Great little place. Hard to think it came from the ground. The shirt I got was made from 100% cotton and 9% polyester. I Loved it.
Very nice to find album of Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc. All kinds of interesting music memorabilia.
A literal Museum of music. In CD, cassette, vinyl, and lp. Also vhs tapes, games, posters, t shirts. And the list goes on. Plan to spend time searching, so park in the lot and take your time.

It has a large collection of rock and metal music. A mixture of cds and records. There is free parking with in the building.
Most amazing multimedia store ive ever been in. Vinyl, posters, movies, and huge eclectic selection.
Amazing amount of music in this building it far surpasses any store I have ever seen music being sold for the amount they have.
Always love coming to Amoeba no complaints at all came to get my fiance the new 21 pilots album and I also got myself an awesome rare Ghost LP =)
