Mexican Restaurant Amorcito reviews
10Ate here this past Saturday. The female clerk taking orders with the color eyes was extremely rude. Felt like she was giving me an attitude while I was ordering and asking questions was extremely odd. You don't like your job do something else. Other than that I ordered chicken tacos that we're supposed to be plain for my son to end up having salsa on them.
So the food was good, the other location is better, but it wasn't bad. The service, however, was the cashier was pretty rude.
This place is so stingy with their hot sauce. If you dare ask for more than two hot sauce for your burrito, they give you a dirty look. They put their hot sauce in tiny containers where you need more than two if you like hot sauce with your food.
I recently dined at Amorcito, a unique restaurant located in a hangar in Long Beach, and I must say, it was quite an experience. I decided to try their fish tacos and opted for the 3 papa tacos as well. The food was delicious and flavorful, leaving me more than satisfied. The combination of flavors in the fish tacos was outstanding, and the papa tacos provided a delightful twist with their savory fillings.
One aspect that truly stood out was the friendly customer service. The staff at Amorcito went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, making me feel welcomed and attended to throughout my meal.
As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn’t help but notice the variety of options on their menu, and one item that caught my attention was the tostada bowl. The anticipation to try it on my next visit is already building up.
Overall, my experience at Amorcito was a positive one. Great food, friendly service, and an intriguing location make it a spot worth revisiting. Whether you’re looking for traditional favorites or a new twist on Mexican cuisine, Amorcito seems to have something for everyone.
Customer service is horrible, the food has absolutely no flavor.
If your looking for good tacos, do not come here wahoos across the way is way better on taste and customer service.
I've tried over and over to be impressed with this place. The irony, I keep coming back so must I like something about it. It's close, it's not SuperMex, El Torito or Frida's or Kalavera's or King Taco. It's not bland, but it almost is. It's almost the right flavor palette. It's latin food, I would assume Mexican but it also seems like it isn't. Being Mexican myself I have certain expectations. Everything here is very grease and tomato reliant. It is all a very very goopy but nice looking mess with how the salsa is seemingly ladled on top. I've never gotten away with clean hands eating here. The portions are big but so are the prices, so it seems only less than fair. I scour the menu, still, for the item that speaks to me, maybe I'll never find it. Maybe Amorcito is just an "almost" place. "Almost" good.
Excellent tacos, and bowls. Super tasty. The carne asada meat was larger cuts of steak than traditional street asada tacos.
If you are from San Francisco this is a horrible place to eat or even compare to. No seasoning on the meat n lots of fat. Don't be fooled by the looks. Trust me
Tried this place purchased a trio of Tacos and the food was not great, meats not strained I picked up and grease just poured out. Customer service was lacking, not very friendly. Hopefully they will care more and improve. I can't recommend
I've tried this place a few times ever since it opened and it's always just okay. Nothing great or even that good. I would much prefer just a regular Mexican food place to be there instead.
