Amos P. Catlin Park reviews
6Nice small park with seating, tables, playground, and a big baseball field that is used by local dog owners for them to run around.
We live in the area and walk to this park regularly. It has decent bathrooms, several gazebos, a nice baseball field, playground for 2 year-olds, playground for older kids, and some really nice nature areas to explore. I may be biased but, my favorite park in Folsom.
Beautiful park. Great for the kids with a big playground, as well as sports because of the baseball field and open grass for volleyball or frisbee. I love taking my dogs here and enjoying the sunshine.
But, beware the rattlesnake town.
It's known by locals as Rattlesnake Park, because there is a Rattlesnake sign in the play area. However in 20 years of living here I've never seen one. It's got a great winding path. The northern part of the park was never developed but it's still a pretty walk.
People practice cricket and baseball. Next to oak preserve. Walk up the hill in a winding path close to neighborhoods. Plenty of parking.
Nice area for dogs and family. I see families having birthday celebration there. Place to bbq, covered table area,
small playground, nice trail and baseball field.
