Really reasonable price and friendly staff. The store and the flower bouquet that they made are to pretty, so we even took our engagement photo there! Thanks for letting us to do that in the store!

Ampersand is an aesthetically pleasing, calming wonderland. I’m so glad it’s so close to my house. I’ve been here a few times to browse, and have purchased two build-your-own bouquets. Both times, the kind folks working at Ampersand offered to help build a bouquet on the spot within my price range. The result was gorgeous, unique bouquets both times. They were also kind enough to allow me to take some photos, which I’ll share here! I’ll never go elsewhere for my flower/gift needs.

Don't let how short this review indicate how much we recommend Ampersand. Words cannot describe how much we loved them. When we first were looking at florists, Ampersand was one of the recommendations by our wedding planner. Upon looking through their Instagram, we knew this was the florist we had imagined we just didn't know they really existed. We also really really appreciate their philosophy on sourcing and designing florals as well. We wanted to make sure the flowers were local, seasonal, and environmentally friendly. We only had one brief phone call with them about our vision and presumably, the rest of the communication occurred between our wedding planner and florist. Due to this, we were a bit nervous leading up to the wedding if we properly communicated the vibe we were going for but they absolutely nailed it. My (the bride) only regret is not spending our entire wedding budget on Ampersand instead.

I really wanted to support a queer owned business, but Ampersand really just missed the mark here. It’s absolutely not worth $195 for local delivery ($15) of a medium vase arrangement ($165). I sent this as a gift to a good friend for his birthday, and flowers look completely lack luster and for what I paid, it’s a very thin arrangement. Ampersand also didn’t include the card (I had provided text in their section that asked if I wanted a handwritten note included). Very unfortunate that this missed the mark. Just more Bay Area BS—businesses overcharging and underdelivering. Will not be using Ampersand again.

The best florist in SF! I made a bouquet with their help and had random people throughout the city asking me where the flowers were from. Highly recommend this place for any occasion (baby shower, birthday, anniversary)

Extremely cute and well curated. They definitely focus on creating arrangements and, while I could go for more "self selection" and potted plants, they're really good at it. It's a great little spot with friendly people and a wonderful vibe. The candle and incense selection is great too.

On my way to get lunch, I realized Valentine's Day was just around the corner & so was their location. I bought a bouquet for my mom who loves it. Who wouldn't love their flowers? It was really beautiful and nice. The florist arranged the flower gorgeously. I can't wait to visit this flower shop again.

I want to thank Ampersand for making 2 beautiful ti leaf leis for my son's wedding. The orchids on the leis were exquisite! Everyone at the wedding kept talking about the leis.
