Amplified Kitchen + Beer Garden, San Diego CA

This is my favorite place in PB. I am always greeted with the smile. Now it's season for some seasonal beers. I like light fruity beer, and it's called Amplified Works Full Pour Tropical Whammy. Otherwise I would get their Amplified Works Leggy Blonde beer it's good as well. They have a great selection of beers, from light to dark. Their food is great, enough to choose from. My favorite food is Döner fries or Grilled skewer plate. The picture is (GSP) and also Doner Fries. They have great view (since they are located on the second floor) of the ocean. Great place ️

Disgusting! I have to give a star to write a review but doesn't deserve that. Over cooked beyond edible. Don't eat here!

Food was tasty, service was kind, and js a kid friendly place with kids menu.beer is well crafted.

Great salads for lunch! Simple, easy but large and fulfilling, we had just gotten to the area and stopped by right when they opened for lunch, my fam loved the ½ rice ½ lettuce and chicken, while I enjoyed perfect falafels on mine!

The service was great! The burger was well done when we asked for medium. The bun was good but needed to be grilled more. The beers are on point!

A really wonderful place to hang out in Pacific Beach. Pleasant setting, fantastic beer list. We started with the zucchini, then moved on to the lamb fries and finally the bowl.

Food super dry and over charred, not flavorful. They serve only local beer and the music is good.
Pro tip: Ask the locals, they will know where to go for good eats instead.

Awesome beer selection. Rooftop has a solid view of the ocean if you are able to sit on the far left side!

An enjoyable pet friendly & kid friendly restaurant. The wait staff was great and the food was very good. Their phish (fish tacos) were exceptional and the burger was above average.

Great rooftop location. Will happily go back in the future for lunch or dinner.

The beers are greatly varied- you truly can't go wrong with any of them! Heidi is a really sweet server/bartender and gives great recommendations. Camille is excellent at recognizing exactly when you need another drink. Wonderful location, you can watch the waves at Pacific Beach and enjoy the cover from the sun. Staff is absolutely amazing, drinks are delicious, view is wonderful, and food is tasty!

Such a good local brewery. I love the American-Mediterranean twist of the food and the wide selection of beers. Personally the sour cuvieè is one of the bests:). Fairly priced too!

My wife and I came here since it was nearby and just decided to see what was here while on vacation for our 1 year anniversary. Best decision we could have made. The selections here are fantastic, especially the beers. Even with the great beers, Best thing about this place is the amazing staff. Heidi and Camille (hope I am spelling those right) were spectacular from the get go. Heidi especially was a great conversationalist and mafe us feel so welcome and right where we should be. Come for the drinks and good music but stay for the service. You will not leave without a good time.

We have eaten here a couple of times the food is great the people were very kind and they have really good beer AND there prices are very reasonable compared to other places this close to the beach

Union Retirement Solutions always enjoys entertaining clients at Amplified Ale Works Kitchen. One of Pacific beach best Gluten-Free restaurants! Mitch our server took awesome care of us.

They have QR codes instead of menus. I hate QR codes. Also, their wait staff is comically slow. Food is reasonable though. Their very is good but some of their first beers are not.

My husband and I got the Doner fries as an appetizer and they were amazing. However, we split a skewer plate with the pomegranate steak and chicken with pita and hummus and it was meh.
Steak incredibly overdone and chewy
The chicken had all the wrong flavors and super bland
The rice was bland
The pita bread is more like a tortilla then bread
Hummus was terrible
After eating the doner fries we were expecting something amazing for dinner but should have stopped at the fries.
Great atmosphere and the server was super nice, though.

Great brew. Great food. Great ocean view. Servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and they have a happy hour.

Definitely worth trying if you have the chance.

Great beer list with sample trays. View of the ocean. Great service. Love you can get low carb bowls. Lamb was a bit overcooked but overall great meal.
