Amtrak Irvine Station reviews
13 Clean, comfortable and safe. For traveling by local trains to San Diego and the further south beach cities or going to work further north it’s a great spot to commute by.
For Railfans (those that photograph or watch trains) based on previous visits not a Railfañ friendly place, but on Sunday, Amtrak police were on site and I had no run in with them, and the normal security from previous visits were not in sight either. Spend an enjoyable 45 minutes catching both Amtrak and Metrolink trains.
Easy to enter/exit. Very clean and modern train stop. Very convenient if you're going to 5 Point Amphitheater to a concert
Clean well kept. Took a star as not manned for special ticket not was offered on machine for retired military on Amtrak.
First time catching the train from this station. The facility was pretty clean and the employees were friendly and help full!
Amtrack is the only way to travel, I've always loved taking the train and staff as always very helpful and kind Thank you Amtrack and all your workers especially on long trips I highly recommend for more people to try it out. No traffic no gas money and you just enjoy the views.
Clean, easy to access, has Amtrak ticket office and even a donut shop which is open on some days.
Nice facility, but the tracks are not well marked for Amtrak so that you can discern which track the trains arrive on. One side seems to be only Metrolink.
Clean and nice. But the nonexistent Amtrak signage is simply unacceptable for proper train station.
Basic industrial; 3 flights of stairs to an overhead bridge traverse. Elevators too but small, slow. Transfer easy otherwise. No frills.
Amtrak does not cease to impress, buy your ticket online or at the station itself. This station has a parking as well for those leaving any vehicles.
I must say that I had the pleasure of stopping in at Irvine Station on my way to Oxnard Ca I was there briefly but I got the chance to dinne in at this place called Cafe Rio and I would say that it was quite the place if your taking your family to have a nice dinner. But over all I thank those that were in the business of relocating people to get to there love ones.
Has a small building to sit in with snack and drink machines, a help desk and security. The area by the train is large with many seats.
This is my favorite station of all of them not very busy but has all the amenities Irvine is a very good Community right by Irvine Spectrum you can catch the Amtrak and Metrolink here there's always somebody to help you out if you get lost I need a question answered I highly recommend you starting your trip at this location
