I don't know anything about this place. I never been there. I just passed through. I can't rate it

The convenience of having a well stocked hardware store in the middle of Los Angeles is unparalleled, easy and fast

My second time at this location. Not impressed with garden selection. Flowers, nor succulents. Customer service is not the best. The cashiers are on personal calls, while helping clients.

Such a great store environment! Live shopping here! Store hours are shorter right now and mask/face covering is REQUIRED to shop here! Everyone was wearing a mask here! Felt safe shopping here!

This is where I go for any gardening supplies I need (especially soil) for 2 reasons. #1, they're very close to my house, and #2, I really like their selection and prices. I'd definitely give them 5 stars if it weren't for one problem, it's very hard to get help from their staff in the gardening department and not just for me. For example, I was shopping there earlier today and two nice ladies were having trouble finding the right type of soil for their plants, and no one working there was helping them, so I went over to help them pick out the ideal soil type for their plants. They l thought it was funny when they asked if I work there, and I said no, I just like gardening (lol). Anyways I'll keep shopping there, hopefully they're staff is more able to help in the future.

They have a good selection of hardware, houseware, and garden items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There is also a lumber yard, which I have not used.

I love their collection of plants and their knowledgeable staff; I can rattle off my various plants and symptoms of problems.and they recognize and provide specific guidance on whatever I throw at them.

Slowest service and most of these reviews are phony. To prove it, click on the "Reviewers" reviews and you'll see they are all over the country.

Caveat: I haven't been in the store yet.

Slow customer service: I was going to go to OSH but I wanted to support a local family business, so I called Anawalt to confirm that they do lumber cutting. Sherry (very nice!) transferred me to the lumber department and I've been on hold now for 8 minutes and counting! It's really turning me off from the store.

Convenient, mostly self service. So so amount of stock and variety, prices are higher than most stores, but great early hours.

Great for a quick stop. Tends to be a bit more expensive than the big box stores but they are more knowledgeable!

The staff is friendly and helpful. This store is a one stop shopping experience. A step above your local Home Depot. Family owned business feel.

It's definitely hit or miss. Today I was in and out quickly with fast help in the lumber yard and they are remodeling the inside to upgrade the place too which will be nice.

I love Anawalt Lumber, they have great customer service and a Knowledgeable staff. Anawalt Lumber meets all your needs Garding, Crafting, Home decor, Electrical, Painting, Building Supplies etc. Most everything you may need. On your Birthday they send you a card with coupon. YaY!
