Complete and utter lack of support. Ancestry's chat line is a robot and a dumb one at that. Don't waste your time and money on "Ancestry" and/or risk being frustrated with Ancestry's lack of support.

Don't believe that your first payment is for a thorough outcome; they will charge you more for additional details, hmmmm? I would recommend that you NOT waste your money with Ancestory.

I have been trying to get my DNA results since November. They sent my kit to the wrong address. Then i had to wait another 4 weeks to get the replacement kit. I followed the directions and was told the results would take 6-8 weeks. I never heard anything, so I called. I was informed they got my spit, but couldn't pross it because I didn't activate it. They left out that part of the direction from my kit. Hence, it was defective. They had to send another replacement it. It's almost mid-March, yet I am still awaiting a kit. Now I called again, and they sent the kit to the wrong address again. I have spent well over 24 hours on the phone, paid for my results, and have zero information. They are foreign, don't understand English when it's spoken, ignore my questions abd/or responses. They are ignorant, not helpful, and lacking intelligence and/or training. Now, 4 months, and starting over again
I highly recommend not contacting these people! It's even a nightmare.
