Andrew Germanovich DO. Pain Doctor at Restore Orthopedics and Spine Center, Orange CA

I have been seeing Dr. Germanovich going on three months now I am a 29-year-old male with the chronic back pain. I have terrible scoliosis spinal stenosis and a herniated bulging disc in my L3 where it meets my L4 needless to say I have been suffering and going through pain for the past better decade of my life now. Dr. Germanovich was referred to me by my general doctor Dr. Holden An amazing doctor. Dr Andrew Germanovich is a very smart and more than capable doctor. He spent time talking to me about pain about how pain medication affects the brain and a whole array of different approaches on pain management that being said he is not a doctor that just throws medication at you and says I’ll see you next month he takes his time is very well managed with his approach but I came to him to reassess my pain and told them the pain meds he gave me were not working almost at all and he kept me on the same ones; I told them it was and has been affecting my quality of life and that I haven’t been able to sleep well because of it.

It Saddens me that after being on medications for going on a decade now I am being prescribed a lower dose than I ever have. I’m a proud man and will not resort to begging not by a long shot. And yes the referral I received from Germanovich to see the spine specialist and other treatments were great to hear about. The fact I was not listened to and kept on the same meds that attributed to one of the worst and most painful months i can remember of is not ok with me. I will be calling in tomorrow to see if something can be done and resolved and if not I will be breaking my contract with Andrew.

Let me be clear I do not want to stop seeing or see another doctor, but if my pain is not being addressed by my PAIN management doctor then I will be forced to break it and go my separate ways. I will re post a comment and update stars when this matter is resolved.

Dr G has been treating my mom for back pain. He is attentive to her needs an doesn't just focus on one area, he considers the whole patient. He has referred her to another specialist to get to the root of the problems. He also will give alternatives methods of therapy to give the patient the best results. My mom and I both like Dr. G and would recommend him to others.

Okay, I’m hesitant to right this review because he is awesome, and all of you new patients come in and take up all the appointments!

Dr. Germanovich is a godsend. When we walked into his office, my wife was basically bed ridden due to what we thought were terrible migraines. In the almost three years we’ve been seeing him, he has changed our lives. I have my wife back! She smiles and laughs again, and he’s done so much for us.

Additionally, about 2 years ago, I accompanied my wife to an appointment with a sever limp and couldn’t stand up straight. I though I’d tweaked it, but he asked all the right questions and a week later I was in a spine surgeon’s office. He saw the issue and got me help before my disk pinched my spinal cord so badly that lost the use of my legs.

Things I love about Dr. G:
- He really cares, he loses sleep over his patients well-being
- He doesn’t assume anything, he’s super thorough
- He actually read her chart!
- He stays on top of all the cutting edge tech and breakthroughs in pain management
- He admits what he doesn’t know, and then does a ton research to learn about it, so he can help you better
- He has a great balance of holistic and modern medicine - something’s can be helped with blueberries and spinach.lots and lots of blueberries and spinach. Other things need medication
- His sense of humor!
- His sense of style
- Did I mention He really cares?

Also, the staff there is amazing! Everyone from the ladies at the sign in desk, to the staff in the back end of the office! Pain management is a hard business. When you or someone you love is in pain, it’s easy to take the frustration out on the person on the other end of the phone. They are so patient! They work hard on the patients behalf to make sure they can get the treatments they need, including being the front line when insurance gets persnickety, and when we would need to deal directly with the drug companies. I can’t say enough about them! But treat them nice! They deserve lots of respect and gratitude.

10 months of waiting is enough! I was referred to Doctor Germanovich by Gregory Carlson Orthopedic Spine Specialist that stated that I have Spondylolisthesis. This debilitating back pain is threatening my livelihood and is severely limiting my quality of life.

Over the last 10 months I have not been able to exercise. My blood pressure rising due to the inactivity and loss of mobility. Going to work is all I can do; I am exhausted due to in effective pain medications. Walking and standing are painful; picking things up off the floor, stooping, bending very painful. Quality of life zero!

A Facet joint injection could alleviate my symptoms for 18 months; a 30 minutes medical treatment! My insurance covers the treatment, but Dr. Germanovich will not provide the treatment without physical therapy and accentually over the counter medications. He wanted me to start taking collagen, I’ve done that. Rest and modest drugs, I done that. I need relief from the pain, so I can get back to performing my job, and having some quality of life.

I do not have 3 months to wait! I need help. Seeing him was a total waste of time. Time that I do not have to waste. Need referral to a active practicing Pain Management Doctor.

Dr G has helped me a lot, he is a very caring doctor that takes the needed time to see your particular case, explaining what is going on clearly to his patients.

I have been to 2 other Pain Mgmt Doctors here in the Valley. Dr. G knew exactly what was causing my pain within 2 visits. Another big plus is he is a D. O. He is trained in giving adjustments which has given me instant pain relief at the office visit. So happy I found you again DR. G!

Dr. G identified my lumbar pain and gave me hope that we could control the pain and after treatment it was gone. More importantly, I have had pain walking for over 15 years and couldn't get a diagnosis. Dr. G not only diagnosed me but gave me exercises to alleviate the problem. To be able to walk normally is a wonderful gift he gave me.

Dr. Andrew Germanovich is an excellent and caring doctor who responsibly helps me with pain management. Dr. G has been treating me for chronic neck pain after neck surgery. My pain is under control and my life is much better. Dr. G has been very helpful and patient with me through this entire process. In addition to his medical help he and his excellent staff have been extremely responsive in completing all of the workers comp papers and submitting the forms in a timely manner. I am very thankful to Dr. Germanovich for his help and professionalism and recommend him highly.

Dr G is very focused and thorough in his work with his patients. My Grandmother and I have been patients there and found Dr G to be very knowledgeable and dedicated. He seems very serious, which he is about your symptoms, but also has a serious sense of humor. He's professional and helpful. He offers contact by email if a patient has questions which I found to be very accommodating.

I am very happy with Dr. Germanovich. Actually, I believe he saved my life.
For many years I had been miss diagnosed, and suffered greatly. I was prescribed meds accordingly.
These meds never really worked.
Then I went to Dr. Germanovich. He took time with me, and told me I had been mis diagnosed.
He prescribed a new med, which was not addictive, and I no longer have any pain.
This was all in my first visit. Now, 5 months later, I am still pain free. I am so very thankful for this doctor and his team. They have all treated me with respect, and sincerity.

I was referred to Dr Germanovich by my Orthopedic Dr. First I have to tell you I am so happy that I did he is a very compassionate Dr. And treated me not like just another number. When I came to him having several complex issues from sever migraines along with severe anxiety. I had been prescribed several medications that I found out latter were addictive! Dr Germanovich explained how dangerous the combination of medications I was taking. And put a game plan together for me to safely get off the medication over a few weeks.

Dr. Andrew Germanovich is a very caring specialist. As far as, I am concern he treats his patients with respect.

I needed to have an injection in my lumbar 4 area, he was painless. Unfortunately, the injection did not work, so he is going to try something different on October 5,2016 to help with my pain in my right leg.

As long as he is willimg to help me with my pain throughout my, I hope he will continue to be my pain management specialist.
