They have the tastiest flavors and such a wide variety so I get to try something new every time:)

They’re cakes are so moist and perfectly balanced. They do lean towards the sweeter side but with their desserts I don’t mind.

The old gingerbread house may not look up scale but the Cupcakes our five star, always fresh moist and the toppings are unique and diverse. I love to support and enjoy this establishment.

The BEST vegan cupcakes - and to think this is not even an exclusive vegan bakery. The cupcake is moist, full of flavour and just melts in the mouth. I've loved all the flavours I've had, but Snickerdoodle is probably the top in that list.

I bought 4 cupcakes for a vendor so I never got to taste it but the selection was great and the cupcakes presented well. Wish I could try the zinfandel next time. I grabbed the last one!

This is a story of how Erica saved my GF's birthday.

My GF drives past this bakery EVERY day on her way home from work. She never stops to go inside, but she dreams about the yummy confectionary delights that are made inside.

Luckily on her birthday, a childhood friend ordered a dozen cupcakes for her. Through the grubhub app she ordered an assortment of cupcakes and even requested the box to be decorated. However, the grubhub driver murdered the cupcakes! It was delivered, placed outside in the sun, and the driver never rang the doorbell.

For 3 hours the cupcakes fought for their lives. Born out of passion, hard work, and with a purpose of tingling some lucky person's taste buds, these cupcakes were instead subjected to the blistering sun. "I'm melting they screamed! ". As their fluffy cake insides began to heat up, their beautifully adorned icing began to melt, an army of ants attacked their fortress. Slowly one by one ants found cracks in their walls and began feasting on the sugary goodness of Fun Fetti, Sage Rhubarb, Meyer Lemon Passion Fruit, Double Chocolate Latte, Chocolate Raspberry, and Lemon Poppyseed.

Upon discovering these dying cupcakes, I called Angel Cakes and a heroic champion of cupcakes answered the phone, Erica! She was immediately passionate, understanding and apologetic. While she was not the reason our cupcakes met their early demise, she offered to replace our cupcakes by delivering them herself after work. The dozen cupcakes did not die in vein. Instead, from their ashes a hero was born and a 5 star review was issued to Angel Cakes, not just for their amazing cupcakes but for their commitment to being a wonderful business, for having passion for what they do, and most importantly amazing customer service.

P. S. The lives of the replacement cupcakes: Tiramisu, Myer Lemon Rhubarb, Matcha Chocolates, Strawberry Rhubarb, Lavender Lemonade, and Irish Coffee were short but they left this world fulfilling their destiny. They brought a smile to my GFs face, the sounds of ravished animal being satiated by cupcakes, and a full belly.

Dare I say, I witness two murders that day.

Good quality and yeah you pay the $ for it. Tons of flavors or combinations you can go with while the owner appears good on communication and customer service when exchanged via email. There is one associate in the shop however who seem to think no one ever walks into a bakery without checking online first for deets. A bit arrogant I would say to tell someone who ask for suggeations or info while standing in the shop that the info is all online. I guess they should put a sign on the door that says, "do not enter unless you first online". Must be what happens when you become the 'cool' bakery catering to mainly hipsters and those "in the know"? Ha!

The cinnamon cupcake with the cream cheese frosting is absolutely the best cupcake I've ever had. And the cheesecake is light, fluffy, and delicious.

These cupcakes were luscious! We ordered an assortment of 100 for a recent work event, including a number of vegan/gluten free cupcakes. They were all a hit, and so very pretty. It was also a smooth transaction and they were ready on time. I could not have been happier.

This place has THE BEST cupcakes ever! We had a cake shop settled for our wedding, but had to swap to Angel Cakes after trying their cupcakes. They have the best variety of creative flavors, moist cakes, and very reasonable prices for the quality they offer. Jen is also amazing to work with and delivered a beautiful, delicious wedding cake with 40 mini cupcakes. Our guests loved it.and we're making the most of what few we have leftover:)

This is my favorite dessert spot! Their cupcakes and cakes are amazing! Super moist, plenty of frosting, and beautiful! My favorites are the passionfruit cake and the lemon/passionfruit cupcakes. The shop is super cute, and they are easy to work with for special orders.

Super fresh, delicious and unique flavors. I have also tried their gluten free cupcakes and they are as delicious! Best cupcakes closest to Alameda. 100 percent recommend them.

Not my preference of pallet, the regular cupcakes I ordered were not soft, fluffy or flavorful at all but oddly the bite I had of my brother’s vegan cupcake was…it’s okay but def not worth the price imo. Trader Joe’s cake mix with a homemade buttercream frosting is wayy better.

Had a phenomenal experience with a custom order. Needed egg-free cupcakes, and Angel Cakes was the only bakery in the area who was able to accommodate our order. Everybody at the party loved them! Will definitely be going back for all future events. Thank you, Jen!

We ordered our wedding cakes from Angel Cakes and they were an absolute hit! There were so many flavors to choose from, it was tough to narrow down. We chose vegan rose cardamom and vegan earl grey cakes and cupcakes, plus a few cupcakes in each flavor that were gluten-free. It cannot be overstated that these were crowd pleasers for vegans and omnivores alike! Jen did an incredible job decorating the cakes as well - they were perfect for our spooky theme. I will absolutely buy more cake and cupcakes here any time I have an excuse.
