Angelo's Méxican Restaurant reviews
14We LOVE Angelo's. Always delicious food and great service. Food always delivered very quickly.
This has good Mexican food but has the best “gravy” in town. Super nice people. Good kids menu options.
If you’re looking for classic Mexican food— then Angelo’s is your place! Located in the cute and quaint area of Downtown Lodi, it is a decent sized restaurant with access to street and garage parking, and a traditional atmosphere. The freshly made salsa has a great flavor! I wish they would include some homemade chips with the standard chips, but, I know that’s asking for a lot… The flavor of their food is very good— the carnitas are crispy and wonderful. The enchilada gravy is complex and delicious. The servers are always very attentive, the pricing is fair, and it’s a great place to get a bite before a movie. I also like their Pork Soup. Give it a try!
Went for dinner solo. The dining in experience was fast, but I didn't feel rushed. The food came out piping hot and the margarita was salty and delicious. Service was well-staffed, clean and lovely with lots of smiles and great suggestions.
I was a guest and it was my first time there. We ordered in advance and picked up dinner. The food was excellent and the service was extraordinary. The atmosphere was clean and friendly.
Best Mexican food in town we have been going to for years and years and still will go there always and forever and more.
I enjoy their food and service but have trouble finding parking anywhere near their restaurant
This is a revisit to a bad exp. Both my wife and I used to go regularly. We stopped after a bad night there. But we decided after some time to retry out old stomping grounds. Let's just say we were delighted. Good food good lunch. Good everything. Amazing. I guess we will start it up again and make it like Ole times.
Great place in the downtown Lodi. They're always friendly and generally good typical Mexican food.
My favorite place for Mexican food. I love their gravy that they put on the food. The meat is always so tender. My favorite is the beef enchiladas. Also my favorite place for their beans and rice.
This place is my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in Lodi. No frills, but solid good Mexican food. Get anything that has gravy on it (enchilada sauce) and if it doesn't order a side of gravy and add it yourself. Yum yum yum
Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Definitely a must when in Lodi. Bravo
Don’t order the tacos they taste terrible rather no taste at all. Crowded restaurant tables were not cleaned for awhile seemed to be a local hang out. I could not eat this very bland small “street taco”taco. They barely speak English.
The worst chilirejanos I have ever eaten. I became sick within just 2 hours of eating them. I had gastric reactions throughout the night. Basically the food was so awful that I couldn't finish it. I have eaten at this restaurant before and have had the same reaction. The chips and salsa are much better. In my opinion, it is below average. I will have to say that the service was adequate, but that is not good enough to make me to visit this restaurant again. This is the first time that I have ever felt the need to complain openly about a restaurants food. I do have to say that it was not normal hours as I ordered the food at 3PM, but still do not expect the food to make me so ill.
