This place is my favorite pizza. Order the lions, tigers and wolverines. You won't be disappointed.

I feel compelled to leave a review. Best bar food in San Diego. Amazing Detroit style pizza, best burger I've had in a long time, and awesome coney dogs just like back in the Midwest. Glad we found it!

The burger is like a Big Mac but with good ingredients. Delicious.

Definitely left me feeling angry. After ordering a large pizza and paying $ 26.00 upon pickup I was like is this a joke, it was 4 tiny square burnt slices. I said I ordered a large they responded "we don't have a large".

Never thought I would find my hometown food in San Diego. The pizza was great and the coney sauce was perfect

Atmosphere ain't the best, but the Coneys are definitely Detroit! (and that's a good thing)

$35 delivered for this? It’s the size of a small pizza. And it doesn’t even taste all that good. Very disappointing.

I eat Angry Pete’s at least once a month best Detroit Style pizza this side of the Mississippi. I promote it every second I get being from Detroit and enjoying this style of pizza this far away is amazing.

Seriously, my new favorite pizza spot! And my kids love it too! Enjoy the view and eat some amazing food.

(Inside Desi's Bar and Grill) Although Angry Pete's is known for their wonderful Detroit Style Pizza, their Double American Smashburger is one of the best burgers around. Their Coney Dog is also amazing! Tip: Get it with the side of Jojos (Potatoes)!

This place is it. It’s what you’ve been looking for if you’ve been hunting for proper detroit style pizza. A hole in the wall spot, but Desi will make you feel at home right away.we will be back, again and again and again.

Amazing food and gorgeous location (we went to the Santee lakes one). We got the pepperoni pizza, brick sticks, burger and pretzel and everything was so so good! We will definitely be back!

I thought this place was good! I was excited to try it as I personally love Detroit pizza the most out of the “big city pizzas” (Detroit, Chicago, and New York). I wasn’t disappointed it was good but that’s it. It wasn’t like I have to keep coming back everyday or I will die like some Detroit style pizzas I’ve had! Also didn’t realize it’s in a bar and the bar is Desi’s and it’s really lovely:) definitely recommend staying for a drink or two!

Reminded me of the hole in the wall bars back in Montana. It was quaint. Even if my Lyft driver dropped me in the wrong place. I only had to walk about 3 blocks. But anyway, my pizza was waiting for me and it was good.
