Where do I start? The front desk had scheduled our family and our pet for an appointment, general/initial checkup. Noticing our vet we were supposed to meet with at our scheduled time, was not in, the vet clinic informed us they had to call her from home to get in as her patient was in. Due to scheduling wrong and the doctor not aware of her own schedule, she arrived at the clinic grumpy and rude. Dr. Inna Magner refused to see our dog because our dog was scared and barking. Our dog only being 1 years old at the time, a puppy still, was prescribed two strong anti anxiety medications and she had diagnosed our puppy with anxiety and trauma. False. Additionally, we were not able to schedule a follow up as they said with our puppy’s “aggressive” behavior, our puppy needed to continue the medication for 2 weeks and then call again. Fast forward, We are now here in Colorado, refusing to take these medications given and seeing the vet here, the Colorado vet has said there is absolutely nothing wrong with our dog and that she is sweet and just required PROPER attention from a vet. I additionally added, more than likely a vet that is not grumpy and irritated by staff, scheduling, and a scared dog that was barking. The vet here said our dog is not aggressive, she is protective of our family. With proper attention and handling, the vets here advised us that protective dogs do better once their owner has left the room. Either the vet at animal cove is oblivious or had known this as well, but wanted and easy escape to go back home and to go back to bed.

Best Animal Hospital and Veterinary care in San Mateo/Foster City/San Carlos/Millbrae/Burlingame!

We have tried numerous other vets in the area when our furry son got cancer.
Animal cove scheduled and saw us in 48 hours. Dr Inna was fantastic at intake and diagnosis, and Dr. G has been nothing short of brilliant, compassionate and the most competent vet we have seen to date.

Our dog is healing nicely, and the follow up care and empathy from the animal cove staff has been extraordinary!

Our overall cost was 1/3 of Sage and Dr. G save d the front paw of our beloved pet.

Highly recommend this vet hospital!

My cat had been vomiting a lot that day and crying before/during. He went in for an emergent appointment and they were able to schedule him quickly. I saw a male doctor, I forgot his name. I'm a huge baby when it comes to my cat and I had other things going on that was affecting me so I was crying during. The doctor offered me tissues, and he told me that he would find out what was wrong if there was anything wrong. My cat was reluctant to go back into his carrier and the vet tech offered to carry him instead. The doctor offered options and was conscious of budget. He also printed out the blood test and explained it to me which I'm super impressed because most places don't bother or assume you can't logically think about test number results.

We had our first visit with Dr. Inna Magner today and we can't wait to return. Dr. Inna has an incredible holistic approach with her acpuncture and laser therapy treatments. What she offers is so special.yes, everything I would do for myself, husband and kids holistic wise - she offers for our puppy! I don't know anyone or anywhere else in the area that offers this type of cutting edge treament combined with traditional Chinese medicine that focuses on restoring the energy balance in the body to promote healing.

You will find Dr. Inna immediately warm and welcoming. She was so understanding and patient with our very enthusiastic australian labradoodle. She explained every step of the way about her approach, how it works and the benefits.

Savannah was also so sweet and lovely with Maverick. We loved her positive and warm vibe.

We can't say enough about Dr. Inna Magner, Savannah and the Animal Cove Pet Hospital team. We will be returning in early April for our next laser treatment.xx

Pretty bad service to my dog, they try to charge unnecessary services to my dog. The Vet was rude to me and speak with condescending tone. I would not recommend it.

We take both of our beagles to Animal Cove, and they are the absolute best vets I've ever seen. The staff truly do love the animals, they are so kind to both Pennie and Lennie every time we go there.

What impresses me the most is how responsive they are to calls and emails. The other evening, I needed the vaccine records for both my dogs, and so I emailed them, they got back to me almost the moment their office opened the next day. This is really unusual and impressive, compared to most other vets that we've been to.

We've been going here for years, so we've been through everything from basic routine wellness checkup visits to bigger surgeries and emergencies. They have always been incredibly kind and loving to my dogs.

WORST EVER IN MY LIFE!
Missed the period to diagnosed right timing for kidney failure, and really not communicative between me and the hospital. All the time and money were wasted. Most horrible part is while I was talking seriously with doctor in reception area (I don't even understand why I need to talk with doctor in reception area) staffs and nurses were talking loudly and laughing next to us while we were hearing that my cat can not become better and hard to survive. Moreover, the doctor is not well enough to explain what is symptom what is options we can take. I am super regret that I bring my precious cat in this hospital. If I go other hospital for regular check up, I could do it right more early. All I can say is DON’T GO
