Animal Den, Sacramento CA

We've had a really great experience with this business and their care for our 1 year old Bernese Mountain Dog. The staff is so kind and welcoming whenever we walk in, always proclaiming his name with excitement to see him (makes myself as the owner feel like they genuinely know/care about him). They are so polished and professional on the phone, quick to respond when I leave a voicemail inquiry - they are top tier at customer service.

They do a really great job with grooming. We've shared some requests when we drop him off (e.g. "neat" vs shaved stomach hair, keep the ear crimpies, etc) and they have appropriately handled each one.

He always comes home happy and exhausted for the next 2 business days, which is a sign of a good stay and a lot of playtime (which we can see firsthand from their daily Facebook photo album of him playing which is such a nice touch and piece of mind for a first time (anxious) pet owner). They also accommodate large breeds well and have ample room/limited pack play size so the dogs can play freely and not trample each other.

Rude employees with attitude would have been better going to front street animal shelter. Better services at front street and kind people.

My dog loves coming here, he gets so exited when he sees the building his favorite activity is the pool. All the workers love him as well and are super friendly and helpful.

I love this place almost as much as my dogs do! I'm so happy there's a pool for dogs in the area!

My doodle Evie loves coming for dog daycare. Her favorite is the swimming area! If you need to leave your dog for the day I recommend bringing them to Animal Den.

Our baby loves her stays here and comes home happy having played with dogs for a week while we go on vacation.take your baby here and see how great this place is! See healthy happy tired.good girl.

Oh we’ve been taking our dog here for eight years. He goes to both the overnight kennel and the daycare. Staff and facility are amazing, our dog loves going, and loves his friends and family there. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Animal Den, and my dog's first boarding experience. The visit was an evaluation to rate how he would do during his upcoming overnight. He is a recent rescue and can be extremely timid and anxious. The staff was very watchful of him and moved him to a calmer environment in the kennel, and provided a "report card" detailing the day:) Thanks, everyone.

They couldn't help me with my last minute issue, but that didn't stop them from trying to find other places that may accommodate me.

Bruin came home all tuckered out in a state of what we will now refer to as the "Animal Den Coma". Love it! Staff was super friendly and let me know how her day went (it was her first time there) and everyone was awesome through the process getting us in and out. Looking forward the the next "coma".

These young people take my dogs care seriously.
He is always happy to run inside and greet the addendents.
When I took him to the car he tried to go back inside. Good sign of good care.

My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!

I have a senior dog who disfavors other dogs but loves people who love dogs. I can travel with confidence that she is well cared for at Animal Den! When I pick her up, she is not stressed.
