Annenberg Theater reviews
7The auditorium has a large capacity of seatings. I have gone there for the PSIFF for many years.
The theater is very attractive and spacious. The acoustics are good. There is a slight incline to the floor but not enough to provide unobstructed sight lines over the heads of people in the prior row.
This place is phenomenal, with nearly perfect acoustics, the intimate 430-seat, state-of-the-art theater is often applauded by the audiences like me, who enthusiastically return year after year, for over two decades now, to experience The International Palm Springs Film Festival, and it is always so much fun. I don’t have to worry about seating behind a tall person, this theater was built right.
Would have given higher star rating. Except they had a bathroom shutdown for performances today (Thursday) … MAJIR EVENT Film festival and no bathrooms … not even one … had to walk 2 blocks x2 ti get to the park toilets and then only 2 out of 4 were operational! So many suffering seniors who could not get to bathrooms … I know it was total water shutdown for the repair but MY GOD! You would think Palm Sorings parks/Red or City would get 2 ports potties delivered for such an emergency! PLUS the ticket office staff was very rude and displayed no compassion or even “ sorry”. Totally disgusting for city of Palm Springs as well as Film Festival!
Spring Fling was another hit! From pre ballet to advance, tap, hip hop, jazz and lyrical and ages 3 to adult all thanks to Miss Lindsay's dedication!
Intimate space with well-designed seating (your knees are not on your chest, even if you're tall like I am). State of the art lighting and remarkable sound system complete the setup for high-quality live theater and other events.
The museum was very interesting and very welcoming. I would recommend my friends and family to come here.
