Annie's Soul Delicious reviews
18I love this place I'm in a nursing home and it's the closest I get to a home cooked meal like I cook. Very good highly recommend
Definitely the Best soul food I’ve had in Los Angeles! I used this restaurant to cater my charity event and it was a huge success. The owner is a lovely woman and very talented cook.
I drove 45 minutes to try this restaurant…I spent $60 but the food was worth it. Deliciousness all the way around…. I gave only 3 stars because I specifically ordered dressing without gravy and after getting home, I realized mine was swimming in it. I wasn’t able to eat it but my chicken, oxtails, mac & cheese, and yams, helped me to forget about it.
This food was AMAZING! Portion, pricing, packaging all a plus! I thought I was about to sit down and eat but it’s a locker store… lol with the i’tis I had, it was best enjoyed at home!
I’ve never actually eaten at the place, but it has been my go-to delivery for over a month now. Everything I’ve tried has been great! My favorite are the SAUSAGE LINKS and the CHEESY GRITS. Eating from here feels like a warm hug:)
First time trying Annie's out. Found her from a video on YouTube that a guy posted. Bunch of guys sitting around eating what looked like the most amazing food. I paused the video to see what the sticker said and immediately Google this place.
Well she did not disappoint and its safe to safe to say I AM NEVER COOKING FOR THE HOLIDAYS AGAIN! My family could not stop talking about the dinner. I had been craving oxtails and hers are BOMB. Not only was it delicious and as if my own 93 year old grandmother made it but it was packaged perfectly. The greens were seasoned to perfection and the short ribs you could cut with a spoon.
We will now be trying out everything lol. Thanks Annie for coming through for my family!
Annie’s Soul Delicious catered my mother’s repast service. Those who attended the service absolutely LOVED the food! They were raving about the fried catfish, the fried and baked chicken, the greens, and Mac and cheese! Someone said, “Who are these people? These people can cook! ”
The owner Annalisa is personable and professional and so is her staff of servers. I would recommend her food and professional service over and over again! It’s the best y’all!
The food and service were terrific! Annie was very responsive, provided a great proposed menu. She just made it so easy to provide a lovely meal for 70 on short notice. Everyone loved the appetizers, dinner and desserts. Dylon and Greg were excellent servers, on point and congenial servers. I’m so glad we found you! So glad to find SoulDelicious!
I have ordered the greens with turkey meat in them and am yet to find the meat. The food is good but small portions and almost ala carte style. The peach cobbler is excellent.
Annie's offers some of the most delicious southern soul food available in Los Angeles. The fried pork chops are phenomenal and the candied yams are among the best I've had. I would highly recommend giving them a try!
No matter what restaurant you order from under this room, you gon be waiting 2 hours for chicken and fries. Makes no sense. Do better, hire better, train better and everything in between!
I was the first to order the lamb shops, and I must say they were great and looking forward to more
Food was fire. The ordering and setup of the Olaf Ria all crazy yeah yeah yeah. But it was fun ordering the food and I walked up and down the block while I waited and I ate in the car. I had a protein shake before I ate to make sure my review was not biased by hunger. Yams was 4/5, max was 4/5 and red beans and rice where 3/5. Smothered chicken was 4/5 for my personal scale (my family is from Alabama-home cooking raised and fed by Madea in East Bakersfield) but for a Resturant I give the meal all 5/5 on a Resturant scale. These people can cook and have food recipes. For real. For real.
I tried to give this place a second chance the wait was 1 1/2 hour wait and it’s a ghost kitchen where it’s madness. Grubhub drivers everywhere it smells really bad…. The food is horrible and the wait time is insane. Ghost kitchen with 15 other restaurants in the establishment stay away and do not even think about ordering from. DoorDash and or postmates.
The food is but their service is terrible. Extremely slow and that will cause this business to lose customer service.
Food was good the candie yams, mac and cheese, potato salad, and fish. Service was good but they forgot one of our sides that we wanted to try. No time to turn back bc we drove 45 mins to get there. Guess we just have try again another day on that one
Four Stars for Angelina or Angelica can't remember but she was So Nice and Patient she made me DejaBlue drink it was Amazing! I ordered the Oxtail plate w/3 sides *Good portion size* Oxtails well seasoned however way 2 much Fat. Greens not seasoned had a weird after taste.
