Anthony's Shoe Repair - Costa Mesa

Solid shoe repair store!

Seriously, Anthony saved my life (and Tory Burches.) I’ve been meaning to touch up my shoes for a long time but needed to find the right store that would give my flats the TLC it deserved. I shopped around to find the right one and finally settled with Anthony’s because not only was it close to my work, they also have a Yelp coupon to help lower the cost of the repair.

I believe I was quoted $75 for sole and heel repair but paid less than that with the coupon. Anthony took the time to explain exactly what kind of repairs my shoes really needed in order for the work to last much longer. Seeing as how TB doesn’t make the most reliable pair of flats (intentional, of course) I knew that I could stretch it out for a couple more years with Anthony’s advice. I had been quoted a week for the repair to be finished. I came back but unfortunately it had not been completed. Nonetheless, Anthony promised me that he would get it done the next day. I figured it was no problem since it was during Labor Day Weekend.

I came back and my shoes looked brand new! He had even gone through the effort of touching up the dye on the shoes since it was in serious need as well. Thank you so much for everything! I hope that this review helps others decide where they should go to next time because the service was spectacular and my shoes are going strong!

I took four pairs of expensive men's shoes that needed various levels of repair (from heel replacement to entire sole replacement). They did an excellent job with all of them and I'm really happy. The cobbler is a hard working man, and the lady is honest and fair with her pricing. A great experience. I'll be back with more shoes!

Of the several times I have been to Anthony's shoe repair it has never been a good experience! Just bought some rawhide shoelaces from Anthony's and they cost more than they do in Fashion Island at a high-end shoe store. I feel fortunate that my experiences have been slightly less disastrous than those of the other reviewers of this business! Try to find somebody else - anything but Anthony's.

If you have the option to go in another place, my advice is to do so. While I was expressing my unhappiness for the work he did he made me pay first saying that will discuss about his service after I sign the credit card payment. He did a very poor job, I still can't use the purse after his repair, but he suggested that he can fix the purse if I pay another fee. I paid for a very unprofessional, poor, poor work.

Love these guys! I'be been bringing my shoes here since moving to Costa Mesa and working. Quick, reliable, professional and always perform excellent work. HEADS-UP, last year they changed their policy: PAY at time of drop-off.
