4Parking can get bad and recently the park has been infested with mosquitoes
If you’re looking for the soccer fields don’t follow your GPS. If you do you’ll be taken to the parking lot near the baseball fields and have to walk quite a bit to get to the soccer fields. The entrance to the parking lot is difficult to find and in between some random businesses. You drive down a narrow gravel driveway and eventually get to the parking lot. There’s close to no shade at the fields so definitely bring stuff like a hat, sunblock, umbrella, or a mister fan. Several times we’ve shown up for our games and found that there’s not enough goals for all of the teams scheduled to play. It’s chaotic and has pushed our soccer games back as far as an hour. With that being said it’s likely that has more to do with the soccer league itself, not sure if the two are connected. Don’t forget your water, with the lack of shade you’ll want to stay hydrated.
Not sure what is going on, but these fields have a massive mosquito problem. They will bite through your clothing. Bring bug spray because this is no joke.
Parking can be a bit tight during soccer season and getting a shaded spot to sit in, is even tighter.come early.
