Anupam Chahal, MD, Carmichael CA

I was referred to Dr. Chahal for her to address a consistent low white count. The referral issue was never addressed. Today, my second appointment, I wrote down my concerns. Dr. Chahal was not receptive to questions and cut me off repeatedly. In conclusion, she stated that my ongoing medical condition needed to be addressed at an advisory hospital. She scolded me for seeking out help from a specialist after being referred. I found her to be too busy, dismissive, and unempathetic to my medical problem, further stating that specialists can't help me and i am wasting my time. It was clear that unless you have a very clear rheumatic problem, she is not willing to address anything with you. It's apparent she is overbooked as wait time was 45 minutes and office visit 5 minutes. I also found the fact that Dr. Chahal recommends testing using Advise Lab test kits to be suspicious, as the blood test kit costs 2k to have tests performed thru this lab. Overall, I felt I had a very poor experience with this provider.
