Apollo Community Regional Park reviews
16Paved pathway that's bike & pet friendly. Several bathrooms & kid play areas along the mile long path.
Family favorite. Nice place to walk. Lake isn't the most beautiful, but it's peaceful.
I love going to this park with my family, We always take some bread and feed the birds. Please be kind to the birds and don't throw rocks at them.
Great spot to take the family amd chill, catch and release fish, feed the ducks, read a book.nice little man made spot
What a safe place to walk and feed the ducks, swans, a geese. It's very beautiful for a picnic.
Love this park. You can bring your bikes, your scooters, whatever. Not many parks have a track that goes all the way around the park.
Oh and the ducks, of course. They're nice to have around too.
I like to go to the park because I walk my dog. I like to look at the ducks and walk for exercise.
Beautiful nature. Lots of Canadian geese.
People walking, some with dogs, relaxing and rejuvenating.
A few people were fishing.
It's a mile or 1.1 mile around the lake.
Lots of picnic areas. Playground stations are spread throughout the park.
Lots of parking. No need for an adventure pass. The park is FREE.
Pro: Nice relaxing park for a walk. Ducks and geese are definitely beautiful to watch. Very clean bathrooms.
Con: All 3 playgrounds seem run down and not kept (lots of missing pieces). Very limited green areas, mostly dirt. Entrance to park could use a better road from main street.
Beautifully maintained park with fishing & playgrounds. Paved walking path is well maintained & great for scooters & bikes too
Quaint park to visit to enjoy outdoor space.
Fishing, play structures, and a walking cement trail are available.
Sitting areas are shaded with bbq grills. Restrooms are available throughout the park.
Family friendly.
Great to spend the day with the family, whether for a quick grill or picnic, or those much needed walks with dogs or bike rides around the lake. Playgrounds and bathrooms. People do go there fishing as well. I have been going there since I was a kid, when they used to have the apollo capsule displayed, but that's gone. Only thing I would change would be the hours, leave it open till midnight! They kick you out at sunset
Play areas for the kiddos, u can fish, barbeque, play horse shoes, ride bike, feed the ducks and geese.
Beautiful park with lots of picnic areas, plenty of trees that provide ample shade. The musical highway is also close by, which is a nice treat.
Apollo Park walk area is a mile around. It is so peaceful for a morning walk the birds, ducks, geese are so beautiful to watch. 3 fun playgrounds for kids. And fishing too
It's a great relaxing place if you enjoy fishing or just want to sit back and take in the scenery, it's also a great place if you enjoy walking as well.
