Apple Carlsbad reviews
15I had an appointment at 4: 30, got there, checked in and waited 1 hour just sitting there. During my time waiting I asked 2 employees if someone could be right with me, considering that people around me were being attended. I LOVE Apple and their products but this just wasn' t it. Although, everyone who I talked to that day was SUPER nice.
Had wait a few minutes to have someone sell me a phone case for my 13 Pro Max, but once they were ready to assist me, the transaction took like 1 minute and the phone case was mine. The tap to pay ability with Apple Pay is very cool.
Brought in a pair of Powerbeats for a new battery. Genius bar recommended a replacement cost of $250 (they were purchased for $150). After asking for the battery replacement fee they corrected themselves to $79.99.
Typical Apple trying to drain my money?
Stepped in briefly to look at the Apple Studio Display 27" as I hadn't seen the latest models. I was hoping to see the 32" but spoke with a store employee who happened to know that the only 32" model in a store anywhere in all of California is in Fashion Valley Mall.
Friendly technical staff at this location. We were able to get the information that we needed regarding a legacy iPad (I.e. Early gen). They didn't have good news for me.
However, that news was direct and accurate!
Fantastic customer service, got my issue diagnosed and solved in short order and no charge! My favorite.
I normally go to fashion valley apple but they had an appointment so I went for a purchase pick up. Online I saw different dates and picked one, after I chose I realized the date I chose would not work, I called the location and asked if I could go pick up, they said yes. I drive 50 miles and get turned away. There was barely any people online, my order said "ready for pick up" but he just turned me away didn't check anything, didn't ask anyone. The only reason I can think of was because I'm not the appropriate color of skin in Carlsbad.
Went in for Air pods pro repair and found nothing wrong but still hearing static from air pods just call apple support they were more helpful
Do not ever buy an Iphone or Ipad for your alzheimer parents because under Facetime setting Iphone lists your phone number, and emails so crooks and spam they get that information and call your elderly people and try to scam them out their money. It is best to get them a simple phone maybe Samsung or Ipad. We spent thousands of dollars on Apple products and went to different location to get help with the Iphone setting to block spam and they turned us away saying you gotta make an appointment. Screw that. The Apple store Carlsbad customer service is good else where not so.
Great service. Just wished apple would innovate a little more instead of following others.
Had my appointment canceled after 30 minutes of waiting after my appointment set time. They need a better way of keeping track of customers. The only good experience was the specialist that assisted me, extremely kind and very helpful.
I had an appointment at 2: 05 to fix my broken screen. I got there at 1: 55 and sat at the Genius Bar. I was not asked when my appointment was. I was ignored. There were people coming and going and being helped while I just sat there unseen. I was there for 40 minutes waiting for someone to help me but they kept helping the new people. I got no word spoken to me. I was very upset that nobody took the time to ask why I was there. Don’t recommend.
While vacationing from out of state, I visited this Apple store to replace my broken iPhone 11. I was a walk in, made an appt and only waited approx 15 mins to be notified of appt (I was expecting a 30 min wait or longer). Ricky and Kyle were friendly, efficient and professional. Both were very knowledgeable. I walked out with a new phone with all info transferred, not issues or concerns.
Called to verify if they had an iPhone 13 pro max in stock before going over there. I was told by individual that answered to show up and see if they have one. I tried to explain that my time is valuable and that I didn't want to waste a trip there. I was rudely hung up on. I went and was informed they had zero 13 pro max in stock. When the new phones came out, the previous generation phones are sent back. The person who answered the phone could have told me that and I wouldn't have wasted time and gas. I guess apple employees don't care about the environment. I would leave zero stars if I could. Extremely poor customer service over the phone.
I called to make an appointment to pick up my new phone. I was told an appointment wasn’t necessary. I’ve been at the Genius Bar for two hours. I’m still here. Mind bending.
Update: It seems the person I checked in with was trash. Maybe I should have said something earlier? ️. From 1 star to 3. Because all these people kept walking past me for two hours.
