Wow! Apple said $460 and 5 days. They fixed my laptop in 40 minutes for $55! And they are a delight to work with!

Manu and his team are the wizards you are looking for. I was in a bind with my MacBook and phone-virusy issues, couldn't update, space not optimizing, everything was acting so buggy and I couldn't get to the bottom of it-and they fit me in right away and worked it out! We got so much done in a short amount of time. I know I would never have gotten personalized care right away if I'd gone to the Apple store and worse, Apple probably would have taken my computer away for days or weeks!

Had a great experience with Apple & Mac solutions. They were able to fix my Macbook pro 2017 model. Super happy with everything!

Reply to owner - There seems to be a lack of record-keeping. I wasn't waiting for a price, I was waiting for a service or diagnosis. (Selling would have been the option if servicing couldn't help.) Apple (Computerland in Berkeley) serviced it and it's now working fine.

Lesson learned. When you broke your phone and went Apple Store, they will direct you to buy a new one. But if you come here, you get it fixed

I have used this business twice to keep my old, beloved laptop working. The technician I dealt with was knowledgeable and gave me great advice. Prices are reasonable and repairs were done in a very short time.

What a great experience! I took an older Mac desktop that belongs to a family member in to see if it was working and, if not, was it worth getting back in operation. Michael was really helpful. He checked it out right there at the front desk, showed me that it was working but that it was a dated hard drive that would cost about $450 to replace.

Based on that, he recommended using that money to spend on a better, more recent used model, leveraging an iPad that the family member owns, or thinking about a new one. I would definitely go back with any equipment that needs work. I felt very confident that Michael knows what he's talking about.

My only complaint, if you can call it that, was that parking was not readily available. I had to drive around a bit, and finally finagled a spot at Berkeley Bowl market. But this would not keep me from going back.

Manu and his team are the best! He was able to accomplish what the Apple Store couldn't (or wouldn't). Got me back up and running with what was the most important part of owning a Mac (my iTunes Libraries). Patient and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

Apple store spent 10 minutes with me and told me I could either buy a new motherboard for $700 or buy a new computer…

Mac solutions literally spent hours working to solve the issue with my computer and actually fixed it, saved all my data, at a super reasonable cost.

I will never consult Apple again on any issue with their products. The guys at Mac Solutions are leagues beyond Apple in computer knowledge and are in the business to actually repair your computer, as opposed to sell you a new one. As a bonus, they are also personable, relatable, kind people -whereas I feel like I’m speaking to a robot every time I talk to someone at Apple.

Macbook screen fritzed. Took it in and they diagnosed it as an overheating problem and fixed it by some magic in two minutes. Then showed me a free online program that enables a user to control the fan to prevent it from happening again. And the cost? Free! Man- what a place!

They did only a simple job for me but they did it very promptly and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely go again for anything.

SO GRATEFUL. Manu and his crew are SO MUCH more knowledgeable than the apple store genuis bar! DO NOT go to apple store for repairs.they told me logic board was toast. NOT true. Apple and Mac Solutions found and fixed the real issue in a short amount of time - which was battery related NOT the logic board. Thank you guys for saving me 1400$! I will def be back for all future issues.

The customer service was so warm and inviting. The young woman was polite, knowledgeable and delightful. Most importantly she was trustworthy, in handling your Mac. She went above and beyond of helping an inept technical person, such as my self. I especially, like the pop quiz, to see if I could remember how to remedy the situation, I had, which brought me to the shop in the first place. Which wasn't all bad, now I know an great place to go other than the apple store without costing an arm and leg. Oh, yeah, incidentally, she didn't charge me one dime! Heck.yeah. People who for it. I highly recommend this jewel of a place.

They fixed my water-logged macbook 2018 in a reasonable timeframe sometime in September, and I've had no issues using it for work and leisure regularly since then. I was incredibly happy with their service and price points. Hopefully I will not need a mac repair anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely return to them.

Apple Genius Bar told me to come here after they couldn’t give a quick diagnosis of my MacBook Pro 2012. The team gave a very quick and competent diagnosis, quoted the price and fixed my laptop in 2 hours. Works wonderfully now. Super friendly and helpful.

These guys are magicians! I brought in an absolutely corrupt, dead hard drive and had written it off as lost data. But no, Apple & Mac Solutions retrieve every last byte at a reasonable price. Thank you, Manu!

Friendly folks, great service, and very competent techs. I had to trust them to take over my phone where I have personal data etc. And you can tell, they are people of dignity. I absolutely love this Tech setup and so glad I found them, because I refuse to buy new iPhone, and I will maintain it with Apple/Mac Solutions techs until it just dies on me. Thank you for being there
