Apple Nails & Spa reviews
21Don’t go in here please! They don’t even clean the nails and usually nails are not straight. They basically do what they like they don’t care what you asked for or what you like to have.
I can’t comment on any of their specialty services but they do the regular stuff very well. Some of the best gel manicures I’ve every gotten and they’re very fair about their pricing. Make sure you call or text:)
One of the worst experiences I ever had at any nail salon I went to table 10 the girl addressed me as hey you instead of saying hello she addressed me as hey you felt that was very rude she began to remove my acrylic off my nails and kept on telling me to relax and relax my hand relax relax my hand I told her I had arthritis and it was very hard to do that then she did two Nails I informed her also that I wanted my nails to be a little thicker and then she told me I should have somebody else do it when she removed my acrylic she moved all my acrylic and then told me in the middle of the fill she told me that this is considered a full set then as she was talking to her coworkers that were standing around looking at her doing my nails then she informed me that she wasn't talking about me in which I felt was very odd and rude it took me some time to find a place where I live I live in Mission Valley and I had trouble finding somewhere I liked I did like that place up until her she's the most unprofessional person I've ever had the pleasure touching my hands again I just couldn't wait to get out of there and for her to talk about me to her coworkers right in front of me speaking Vietnamese was very rude and unprofessional she's the most unprofessional person I've ever had to deal with it any nail salon ever I don't recommend this place at least not her the other experiences I had there two other times were good but with this one bad she sits at table 10
Walked in on Friday around 0930 and was greeted & helped right away. I was surprised by how busy this place was so early. The pedicure was very relaxing & not rushed which I appreciated. I then was moved to a table to get my nails done since I'm pregnant. I noticed they can normally do both at the same time if youre doing a mani/Pedi. I didn't catch the lady's name but she suggested & dip powder & it was perfect. Couldn't be happier. Prices are fair, cheaper in my opinion than other places in San Diego.
This is a treasure in Mission Valley. Right by In-N-Out in case you need a burger lol they are amazing it’s so friendly it’s a nice place to be, they do a wonderful job and there’s even free alcohol if you want some! But seriously, you shouldn’t miss them, they’re fairly priced and they do great work. You can always get a walk in appointment. I actually enjoy my nail appointments being pampered by such cool people in such a nice place. I am a regular! Henry is the very best!
I was super excited to get my nails done here. The salon was really clean, and they offered me a drink right away. My biggest issue is that my cuticles were completely destroyed during the acrylic process. The woman doing my nails kept taking the grinder to my cuticles over and over again. Almost all of my cuticles were bleeding, and after she noticed, she dipped her brush in acetone and ran it over my bloody cuticles. This is probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a nail salon. Almost all of my cuticles looked like the one in the picture, but this one was for sure the most painful.
My last two experiences here have been bad. Both times I made an appointment for both a pedicure and dip at the *same* time, and both times I had to do them separately—spending almost THREE hours at the salon. This most recent time the gal doing my nails burned me three different times with the rolling buffer and then cut me so badly with the nail file there was blood all over the side of it. She laughed as she apologized. They move way too fast here for quality service, and the lack of respect for time and skin is extremely upsetting.
First time here. Rose did my nails and her work is awesome! Just moved from Savannah where I have been seeing the same tech for 20 years. I will definitely be back to see Rose. Be aware that they don't let you put a tip in your bill if using debit/credit card so bring some cash with you!
Great service and fairly priced. I got a full manicure and pedicure treatment. It was extremely satisfying and my hands and feet feel great!
Each and every time I go to Apple nails.things turn out perfect! I love how friendly everyone is and I really feel like I get self care. Nails on point and lavender pedicures are my favorite!
I walked in and waited maybe 3 minutes. Good pedi. It's busier later on which tells me it's popular and people enjoy it. I was very satisfied with my nails
This was my first time going to a nail salon in san Diego and I just randomly picked one and when I booked my appointment and arrived they was ready. I recommend Danny, he is very nice and professional. I was comfortable and I felt welcomed. 10/10 and I forgot to mention I am a boy and it was also my first time getting gel.
Quick and easy. Accepted my appointment request by phone 20 min before on Saturday. Bubbly champagne was an amazing treat from the place to make my time even more relaxing.
Photos of most recent prices.
I went here because I heard good reviews about pedicures which is something I am in search for. I decided not to get nail polish on either of my toes or hands since i did a basic manicure. Manicure seems great still some cuticle left but overall it was done great and my friends gel manicure looked great! My other friends pedicure color couldve been done better. Now the special pedicure sounds great but i did the basic because i wanted to see how well its done. I went about my day but towards the end of the day there was some bothering. I had to clean all my toenails because i was feeling very itchy and noticed they were a little red. I had to clean up the pedicure from clipping to filing. Pedicure was not worth the price sadly.
She rushed on my nails and they were all different shapes when I just wanted coffin nails. They weren’t even busy btw: (
Chipped the very next day. Poor quality products and a rushed, ineffective job on both hands and feet.
I showed her photos and told her same length and shape and she just made them super stubby. I said I wanted a flower but because she did a bad job I changed my mind and she complained and laughed with the girl next to her the whole time because of it. When I called the guy said $45 but she charged me $50
No one wants to pay extra for a flower on nails that already look bad
Easy quick service, small but mighty salon. Some of the nail techs are rude tho just trying to get a quick tip so be careful.
I had high expectations of this place. They need to better explain the services. I first wanted ombre dip and ended up with just one color after the nail technician failed to explain that I wasn't getting what I first requested. She rushed through my manicure. Leaving my nails full of dry cuticles. She rushed and went home. The male manager on duty tried to fix my cuticles and ended up making bleed. Blaming me that the bleeding wouldn't stop because I was placing pressure on it. Horrible experience, NEVER going back! $100 later for unprofessional services.
One of the worst overpriced Nail place I have ever been. Nail started peeling and chipping after 2 days.
I would not recommend any of my friends to go there
