Apple Stonestown reviews
20It is impossible to buy things in this store, you have to get an appointment to buy a phone. 45 minutes wait time. Plus an extra 10 to get someone to talk to you. Worst experience ever.
A nice police officer is outside to help protect the electronics and he loves to say hi to the kids. This is why I still have faith in apple even though I believe they still could add a bit more durability to producs.:)
One of the fastest purchases of any apple products!
Amazing
Nice friendly staff eager to help and not pushy salespeople
I was there to pick up an online order. It was fairly quick and easy, I think it would have helped if the “order pickup” line was closed to the front because I ended up waiting in the wrong line for a few manures. However, still a very smooth process and all the staff was friendly and helpful.
I went there yesterday to return my 14 Pro Max. 2 phones were delivered on OCT 19 and it said i can still return on NOV 2 2022. But went there to return on OCT 31. Store manager said it was expired but my return date was NOV 2. Btw, 2 phones were still wrapped/haven't opened it yet. So i couldn't get my refund back to my credit card, but instead they gave me 2 $1208 in store credit. What should I do with total $2416 gift card?
So angry cos they don't keep the promise what they have given!
Ok the wait for the Genius bar can be frustrating, especially when they are short staffed or call in sick. I just wish they would have some kind of number waiting system so you know 'where you are in line' similar to the DMV. Overall pleased with their repairs, so I updated this review.
With an appointment, still had to wait almost half an hour. Our experience with Luna's help for unlocking an ipad so I can use it was stellar!
One of my camera lenses on my phone is cracked. Per Apple support it would cost $109 to repair & I could either do it here or at Best Buy. I opted for Best Buy originally because it was closer to my home. When I went in they didn’t have the material in stock so they advised me to go to an Apple Store. I came in for my appointment & was told that they advised me to get the entire back of my phone replaced for $600. They told me they saw the camera repair option in their system for $109 but for whatever reason they could not ring me up for that option. The only option they were offering was the $600 option. I was advised by Ash the “leader” that I should go to a 3rd party repair shop. I told him Apple support sent me here & he told me they were wrong to do that & he didn’t know why they would do that? ! Anyways seemed to me like a bait & switch. I had time to hear the other workers there encouraging people who came in for repairs just to get an upgrade. Absolutely a terrible experience & I don’t recommend anyone to waste their time there.
Service was ridiculously slow. Although the technician Juan did his best, he had to pronounce my MacAir dead, and send it to the Apple Cemetery, I had it for 8 years! Next, they sent out the awesome Ryan, who normally works in the back, to discuss my questions about a new computer purchase. He was amazingly helpful, above and beyond what he needed to be. All 5 stars go to Ryan!
Went to buy an SE phone. Asian rep.made us have to download ICloud to backup information and gave us a laundry list of to do issues before we can purchase the phone. He won’t transfer the SIM card. We tried four times to backup our phone but it’s an Apple 5 and it didn’t work. We went to AT & Tv store and bought the SE Apple phone. The rep replaced the SIM card for us and helped us down load Gmail since I was having a problem. Am disgusted at the Stonestown store. The rep could’ve transferred the SIM card but he treated us as if we’re IT know it all techie professionals. They need to retrain their employees in professionalism to make the customers feel relaxed not stressed out as we felt.
Requires appointment now. Not listed anywhere, including Apple’s own website.
Terrible experience. Drove in and now can’t make a purchase today.
Earlier shopping experience here was bad. The employee who initially "helped" us approached us with disgust, made us apply foam cleaner to our hands before coming in the store, then proceeded to wipe down any computer we touched right in front of us. I did not see other customers treated in this manner by other sales agents. I complained to the manger who had someone else step in to assist us. Being that one of us is disabled we needed to see which computer was adequate for our needs. Left purchasing a MacBook Air and residual mixed feelings of ever shopping here again.
Had to exchange this laptop for another. Was questioned and treated like a criminal for a defective laptop. New laptop works and guarantee this will be my last Apple product purchased.
I had get really wonderful service over there i went there for two different propose both time i get a wonderful service from the Friendly staff.
Predict the customer service employee kept me from being scammed out of $1,500.00 equalizers because it was so good at his job he knew what questions to ask me or agitated and based on my answers he was able to give me good advice
Honestly it’s a busy branch but when it comes your turn the customer service is perfect and they give you more information and soo helpful specially I want to thank (DAKOTA) one of the best employees over there he helped me and my husband on a lot of of issues
Scary place to shop with it being located in San Francisco and all the crime associated when parking you see a lot of shattered glass in the parking lot from previous parked car’s getting broken into. Than walking to the store you see many security along with a Police Officer on post in the store. While in the store as it is so crowded it may take awhile to get your needs taken care of. Not a comfortable experience for your Saftey.
Walkin and was approached by a customer service representative right away.
I explained my problem and within 15 minutes, a technician was able to explain and gave me the answers. The staff were courteous and helpful.
They even schedule an appointment to get my computer repair.
Several times, I have been sent here to have my phone inspected for issues. Each time, apple support has scheduled me to be here. Each time I show 20 minutes ahead of time and check in. Each time I’m overlooked and they have to 'fast track' me after spending ten minutes searching for someone to return eye contact. Pretty abysmal for a company who told me to be there at a specific time. Had this been the experience my store gave when I worked for apple, heads would have rolled. But I guess it's derigeur now. I even had to call Apple support back and have them call the store this time. A big waste of time for them t ok tell me to do things I've already done like restart the phone. Why do they even offer 'Genius' support?
I only get dragged in here because the wife likes Apple products. They have a ton of Apple gadgets here and when I see everyone googling over them I'm happy I'm not a part of that craziness. However, if I were an Apple person this is definitely the place to be. Next time you're at Stonestown go check this place out. If you see a guy on a Droid phone patiently waiting for his wife out front say hi to him! That's probably me.
I came in to buy a phone and waited probably 10 mins and then was on my way happily. Thanks for getting me in and out quickly.
