We traveled in for a family get together and wanted to stay in a quiet, peaceful location. This was perfect. Very nice, renovated rooms with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, which was a necessity after driving for 4 hours earlier in the day. The room had blackout curtains and we were able to sleep in. We traveled into Julian for a late breakfast and fell in love with the town. The apple/mountain berry pie is a must try. Thanks again. We will be back.

It was our first time visiting Julian, and we went with another couple we ordered 2 rooms and it was nice that we had our rooms next to each other. Also we were delighted that they let us check in early.for being a hotel it was clean and we had everything we needed for one night.we enjoyed the sitting area in the back surrounded by nature and enjoying the view of the mountains.check in and check out was easy. Also was pleasant to have your cars parked in front of your room. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Liked the location and ease of highway access. The room was clean upon arrival. I was surprised to find dents and paint missing on the wall next to the couch. I must say the free wifi and available streaming apps on the TV was great! All I had to do was log into my account.
The bakery across the street has delicious pastries. Next door is a wonderful restaurant, Jeremy's, which we very much enjoyed dining at each evening. The staff are very professional and extremely knowledgeable of their selections as well as curating beverage selections to compliment your courses.

Had a pleasant stay here. Big room, beds are super comfy. Mini fridge, coffee in room. Close to Julian just 3 miles. The Inn is partially run on solar. Even though on the main highway, very quiet. In the room you can hear nothing outside. Steps away from a pizza spot and bar. Recently remodel ed. The pool was not open, but it looks like they are working on it. Woke up listening to birdies. Easy in and out. We would definitely come back for another stay

I really liked the room. Was clean and roomy. The style was very nice and had a tv with enough channels to keep one entertained since everything shuts down early. I would suggest a regular coffee maker since Kuerigs have to have water sitting in it…. Most people would not want to use the machine not knowing how old that water is. We wanted coffee but did not use it. Parking is great and close to rooms. Checking in and out was easy. Also nice not hearing your neighbors. Thank you for a nice stay!

The hotel is 3.5 miles from Julian, so we were disappointed. We were in room #1, which was a bare bones room. The metal frame on the bed stuck out much farther than the mattress and I sliced my leg open on the corner of the frame. We were in and out a number of times and never saw an attendant in the office. There was no ice machine on the property so we had to go to a nearby restaurant to ask for ice. There was only 1 straight backed chair in the room. 2 hangers. Sporadic internet. No hair dryer so the next morning, it was 34 degrees and I had to leave with wet hair. The shower water never was more than lukewarm. I booked thru Expedia and they phoned manager who refused to compensate us anything on this $200 room. Sorely unhappy with this place.

I loved going to this place, I regret that I didn't have more time and money.but please, if you go to these types of places, don't damage things.

Comfy, quiet and clean room.i appreciated that i couldn’t hear people’s music, tv or doors slamming.i needed ice (and they advertise that there is an ice machine) but they don’t have one.no tissues in the room either.typically hotels have a box of tissues.at least the ones i have stayed in do.the store in town didn’t have any either.they also advertise that they have a coffee maker in the room and they do, but would you make coffee in that? It looked gross! And if i did want to make coffee there were no cups.edited after owner response … my complaint was the gross coffee maker with yellow water.i’m not goi g to make coffee in a coffee maker that looks so gross! There was plenty of coffee and creamer pods.

I want to preference this with I work very hard for my money. I once worked at a casino where I checked in 100’s of guests a day with a smile on my face. I still run for $100 because that’s most Americans. It seems to be the attitude due to the lack of housing in this area (at many hotels btw) is that they don’t care about customer service. I texted this morning around 8: 44 to be exact about extending my stay and no one replied for over 2 hours which highly inconvenient for me. This attitude of California will eventually bite them in the rear because housing prices are about to significantly drop. I’m just so honestly sick of being inconvenienced by people who don’t care. The rooms are great and look beautiful. I wish I could have peacefully slept through the day without having to worry for over 2 hours and then pack my stuff up. I just think they were hoping to charge me the full room price. Not into it. I already had to evacuate the mountains. I’m getting the vibe that Californians are the most selfish people I’ve ever met and I’ve been to all 48 states. Customer service still matters and you don’t need my money obviously. I would have communicated with the front desk more but you had a lot going on out front. I didn’t even care about the nose. I could cry from exhaustion.

Tha Farmhouse, WOW! Quality remodel, enhancing the natural warmth of the vintage home on naturally wild grounds with a million word view that just teases smiles from our guests. The soothing tranquility of silence is only interrupted by songbirds and farm animals. A required escape from the big city only a hop skip and jump away.
Thank you for opening your home to us! We will be back!

Rooms cheaply remodeled and very sparse. Thin towels and only 1 pillow, ceiling fan broken and just not worth the money. Would not return.
