Apple Valley Newton T. Bass Branch Library reviews
15Friendly and helpful people work here. My kids love it and we have do much fun at the monthly events! Grateful they are just 5 minutes from home for us.
Give credit where credit is due. This library offers its patrons exemplary services. Upon entry, Let's start with the state-of-art TECH bar remodel at the entrance. EN GARDE.puts STARBUCKS to shame. Security: metal detectors on deck. They have the most informative REFERENCE Techs that greet you with smiles and give awesome customers/patron service for the asking. With a library card, WIFI is available and for safety precautions every patron must agree to their terms of usage. They now offer wireless print from cellphone application which you can download and receive your printout @ 10 cents per page.
As early as 2 years of age to pre - kindergarten, reading programs/contest are offered. Participants that learn how to read aloud 1000 early readers books can win a prize. Honestly, this is a perfect example of how the roll of the Libraries takes a step well ahead K-12 to encourage literacy.
Apple valley public library has a great location near from everywhere. The Library is very nice and organized from the inside and outside. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it has a very good selection of books. Also, it has a book store inside for a very reasonable price. Thank you
This was my family's first time here since moving. I have to say from the initial phone call to the moment we stepped out of the door everyone was so pleasant, upbeat, and helpful! Trust me I had 3 children including a toddler!
Apple Valley library is a good location to study. Not only do they do everything that a library would traditionally do (lend books and various media) but they have a cadre of computers that can be used by those who have a library card free of charge; Wi-Fi is also free. However, there is a nominal fee to print or fax.
Additionally, are study rooms, study booths, and a dedicated children’s study area. Most tables throughout the large main room have electrical outlets sufficiently for charging your mobile devices and keeping your lap top charged.
They also have a used bookstore on site where patrons can purchase used books and various media at bargain prices.
Even though the library was temporarily closed, they have people there willing to help you. I came to apply for a library card and check out a book.
Everyone is super friendly and willing to help if needed. Place is always so clean. I enjoy myself every time I go.
I hadn't been to this library in 13 years and let me tell you things are different. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The young lady, Fatima at the counter was an amazing resource and offered much help. It was clean and tidy and had so much to offer. My 9 year old is very excited to go back again.
I go there to study and I love it there. And I want to thank the staff there for allowing people like me to have a place like this to study almost daily. I just passed my NCLEX (nursing board exam). I don't know that I would have made it without this library. Thank you all much

Went in with my adult daughter & 2 grandkids for them to get Library cards. It was done quickly.
What an awesome library! So clean & bright & everything works & is organized & there aren't a lot of people crowding the place. A real gem. Very happy with how much money the county spends on parks & libraries. This library is absolutely fantastic. Lots of comfortable places to sit, plenty of PC terminals with comfortable chairs, printers, copiers, a nice public restroom, they even have a bookstore section that's just as well run as the library proper. The employees were incredibly helpful & friendly & happy. I love to see happy workers, especially now, it's so rare anymore. Great library, highly recommend.
I always go there. I will get on their computers, and check out movie's I have not seen. I give it a thumbs up. The workers are very professional.
