Applebee's Grill + Bar, Chula Vista CA

Terrible. Food was LATE so we decided to sit and wait. I ordered a drink and the manager STILL carded me. ON TOP OF THAT, steak was cold. My date was Mad. Don’t eat here

The onion soup was great the steak was a little bit colder than they didn't get most of the order right but for a Friday evening got to give him another chance

Usually our server is exceptional, and this time was no different. Great service and the food and drinks arrived as ordered and quick. Food presentation is never as nice as the menu and the taste is about average. Drinks (alcohol) are okay but the price is great. Wait time today was long because of football, but we were seated sooner than quoted. Good happy hour specials

Ok food, Great experience if you know the vibe will make up for the food. The service here was great, the food came out quickly. Like I said food as a whole was ok.

Had the french dip and it was the bomb. Ordered curbside and it was fast and efficient couldn't be happier good job Applebee's. Now that's customer service

I had Chicken with Burbon and saltated onions. That meal was so Delious and the aroma when the server brought it to my table was so amazing. Gives you a Bigger Appétit.

This place is pretty cool and the servers are always so pleasant. Food is always hot and pretty good, and they always have a decent special going on. Affordable and good for the whole family or even by yourself. They have a cool bar area with tons of t.v. S for you sports fanatics.

After we finished my grandma only left one dollar as a tio. I went back to give more money and lost fifty dollars in the process.

The food was ok. It use to be better and cheaper. Idk why I keep ordering take out from them. I guess it because I wish they were better like back in the day. It's really annoying that they give you a pick up time and they aren't ready. I'd like to say that they were busy but that's no excuse. They can adjust the time for me to pick up my food.

Fast and professional service. Delicious and high quality food. Very reasonable prices. I had the rib-eye steak, it was great!

Food was over cooked. Fish and chips plus shrimp and chips. Shrimp was like chewing rubber. We didn't finish the meals, but were compted the meals.

I've never had a bad experience at Applebee's till now (there'salways a first time)!

After checking in with the hostess and given us an estimated time of 45 minutes she expected me to wait (quietly) for another 45 minutes because she messed up.

We received a text message that we were next and were about to be seated. After waiting another 10 minutes, I decided to check with the hostess and was told we were NOT on the list.

She gave me this bogus excuse that a server had "Accidentally" clocked out to go on break. Make no sense.

I believe she gave my table to another "party of 7"!

Our server made up for the hostess' screw up. She was very attentive to all of our needs and requests.

I regret not getting her name to give her a big shout out and kudos to her!

We ordered our food and our server suggested a better and cheaper option, great! It was exactly what we was waiting enjoy that night.

Terrible terrible terrible this place has so many roaches I was scared. I had to fan out my clothes before I got in the car. I’m sad I wasted money here on food I can not eat.

Everytime I go here it's a problem. I keep going back thinking one more chance. It's also the closest to my house. The problem here is timing and quality of the food. To me when you get take out the food should look extra scrumptious, but every time it's sloppy, they forget condiments, and almost everyone here has an attitude or is to busy to take an order or just greet a person.

First time at Applebee's and I have to say that their steak that I had was very delicious and quite tender. I rank kinda low because I had broccoli, which was quite salty. Other than that, the rest very tasty!
