Applebee's Grill + Bar, Fontana CA

Very disappointed in the service came to this location to take my fiancé and her son for her birthday and the food was cold and service was very slow. I let them know about her birthday and the waiter said they would sing her happy birthday and give her a ice cream dessert. At the end of our meal he brought the ice cream and no one sang her happy birthday and the ice cream was frost bitten so that was another thing about the food at this location I will probably never come back to this location due to poor service and cold food.

Drinks were cold, food was hot & wait was not long at all for either a table or food. Our waitress Angel was excellent & informative. Friendly to our girls & we would request to sit in her station on our next visit.

Going here is a waste of time. Had a horrible experience: Waited with my family for an hour (the restaurant was not busy at the time) finally got a table for our party and received no service. We waited for another 15 minutes at our table with no help until we finally just left. We had an event to get to after eating so we were left heavily inconvenienced and pressed for time with hungry kids to feed in a rush to get where we needed to be.

Neriah M charged me an extra $5 on my bill when I already handed her a $6 tip physically. Food was fine but charging me extra $5 after I already tipped is ridiculous. Watch out for Neriah M if you get her as a server and make sure to keep your receipt.

Sat in bar area, our waiter was great, although he couldn't pour a beer, I think due to his age. Our burgers were way overcooked and very greasy, fries were ordered well and were super good. Second time we've had a bad experience here. We won't be back, found September's down the road.

We like it. I would like to see them offer the bread sticks, or a roll with all their dinners, not just the salads. Here's a question for you. Why does this place look and feel exactly like Chilli's?

Wife and I visited on Saturday August 5 around 7pm. No line. Didn't take long to be seated. Zack and Krysta, both are beautiful people did an awesome job of checking on us. I had the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp. It was very delicious and seasoned perfectly. However, my wife could not say the same for her ribeye. The flavor was absent and it was overcooked. Overall, great job. Maybe we'll have our next Mr Ms Military Pageant near this Applebees. Thanks guys.

The bartender was great and had good energy. There were a few gnats flying around the sinks which was a little nauseating as I waited for food. When the food arrived it was good. It could have been better but the wings were undercooked and one still frozen inside. They comp'd them and I didn't get sick so it was fine.

The price was good I went on a Saturday during night around 8 or 7 pm and surprisingly only a 15 minute wait rather than an hour. The food was pretty good the fries tasted as if they were sat out for 10 minutes and then heated up. The ribs were very good they fail off the bone very easily and tasted very good. I also has a ceaser salad which of course it's impossible to mess up a salad like that. The service was good our server was nice and helped us choose. The only issue is when we went their were nats near our food which may just be due to the door being open.

Yesterday 8/7/2023 I went to eat at this restaurant before placing my order I suggested a margarita the waiter asks me for ID I showed him my license from my country since the date of my birth is 1981 by the way he told me I had to go to the car for my passport or I will show you a California state ID otherwise they would not serve me the margarita wao really it was more than anything discriminatory since I am a tourist and we rarely have our passport at hand so as not to lose it

I sure enjoyed celebrating my birthday celebration. Our waiter Bishop was amazing Bravo job well done

Bro Tyler just passed us so much it took him awhile to grab out our order would just looks at us and pass by. Didn’t refill out drinks and forgot one of the drinks. The food was bland no flavor. They gave one of our drinks to the other table the floor was a mess and all the people on the floor ignored us including the manager I think she was wearing a button up honestly worst customer service I’ve experienced

We were seated and the table wasn’t even clean nor the floor. The floor wouldn’t have been clean if I hadn’t stared at it for so long that the server noticed. The waiter took forever with everything and it wasn’t even busy. One of the orders we had was Mac and cheese and they basically gave us just the pasta with how dry and bland the sauce was. They also gave my margarita to the wrong table and wouldn’t have gotten another if I hadn’t mentioned it. I would give zero stars if I could. Management walked by so many times and didn’t even check on us.

Our waitress Hilary was the best! Also her other coworkers that help with my party of 12 people. Really friendly service ask for Hilary she's great!

I was eating and drinking comfortably and I trust that people do quality control on the food and drinks before bringing them out. I am finishing up my meal and realize that my iced tea was full of little worms! Worst of all I mentioned it to the guy and he didn’t even apologize for it. I am disgusted.

This place is a hit and miss restaurant. We've had a bad experience awhile ago so we decided to try again and this time was a better experience.

Food was amazing. Service was not, did not get napkins or utensils when seated with our appetizer Steve B bossed his other co worker around even though he wasnt busy to get us what we needed towards then end of our meal. He was too busy fidgeting and walking around doing nothing. But he did open the door for us as we walked​ in to the establishment, ill give him that.
