Was about to spend big money. But the guy that was helping me said he has to get back to what he was doing and told me to find Trent. Like I know who that is.

I see why this place was empty. I walked out. I give my business elsewhere. Never going here again. Sad, I liked the fish here.

The store itself is fantastic. They easily have the best selection and care for the fish, but the service is inconsistent depending on who you get. Some of their employees are phenomenal, and take make you feel helped and some others make you feel like a burden and unhelpful. Most employees are great but I've had one that didn't listen to the specific fish I wanted, got the wrong fish, and we're always rushing me. I ended up just walking out. Other times though are great and I can't say enough good things. I even had my clown fish get brooklynella and one of the employees offered me some of his own medicine because I didn't know what to get. Worth the risk to go in and possibly get the one bad egg, for the chance to get the many better employees and give you a great experience. If not for the one less-than adequate employee I would give these guys 10/5 if I could

Amazing aquarium store! They have the best selection of discus in Northern California. I highly recommend this aquarium store.

My almost 80 year old father has had his tank cleaned for almost 7 years by them. He would call me so excited to tell me what they brought him or cleaned every time they came. They called him 3 months ago and stated due to his distance they would be dropping him as a client. I tried desperately to call the general manager and store owner so I could speak with them and see if anything could be done. They never returned my calls. I'm disgusted that we were clients for years and spent thousands of dollars at their store but they couldn't return a concerned daughters phone call? They will never get an another dime from us.

This place is awesome. It's workers are friendly and super knowledgeable. They have a great selection of coral and nice display tanks.

Only had the rope fish that I bought there for 3 days, now its going to die. They are too busy to try and help. I hope there other rope fish are healthy. Probably not going to shop there anymore. Bums me out.

The Aqua Life Aquarium team consistently give my Dad stellar service for his large in-home tank. Candace set up a monthly cleaning and plant replacement service, which is perfect every visit. The team are all professional, friendly and clean marine experts. Danny is Dad's favorite tech, who has knowledgable and helpful in all tank upgrade recommendations. We appreciate all of the Aqua Life Team driving the extra mile to the mountain communities to service our family's special tank.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Good selection of fish and coral frags at very reasonable prices. All the livestock I’ve gotten from them have been healthy and pest free

I always had good experience with this store and staff until the other day. I had bad experience with one staff member. He had bad attitude and it seemed like he didn’t want to deal with me. They also updated their rewards program which is similar to other LFS. Honestly a lot of times I would make a trip just to get points and save my rewards for big ticket items but now I don’t have incentive to drive to Rocklin. Customer service is key in retail world.
