Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Water Spa, Desert Hot Springs CA

For the price, you get a spacious room w mini fridge and coffee maker. The staff currently is doing a terrific job cleaning (ive been coming to this property off and on since 2013 and whoever is managing now is on their game in that regard:) We had a room near the stairs and OMG w all the kids staying here running up and down in the early evening hours, it wasn’t relaxing to say the least but i prefer children noise to gross and creepy adults LOL. But they were able to switch rooms easily which was so appreciated. Staff is responsive and professional. It’s a convenient location for travelers as its a off the main drag in DSH. The pool and outdoor jacuzzi- its my only meh observation- the water isnt hot enough, the pool was kinda dirty, the jacuzzi needs to have the floor reglazed as it’s looking a little grimey and word to the wise if you are sensitive to bleach be careful. But it is mineral water just has the high bleach content

It doesn't look the great, paint chipped. But its inexpensive and it has has great value.
It would be better if they brought back the breakfast.

The water especially in December is a delight to swim in. Heated pools with two hot tubs. Worth the visit.

Wow, what a dump of a room! Broken toilet, dirty carpet, bare walls, dilapidated fixtures, chipping paint, no furniture, no hangers in the "closet" (or at the desk). Just about the worst room I've stayed in in this country. Originally had four nights booked and had to cancel the other three because my partner and I were so grossed out. Also, they had plastic hanging from the balconies (construction?) and the spa was closed. This place has zero amenities to offer. Except the pool and hot tub. I did enjoy the hot tub at least.

They gave us a only partial refund, leaving me with a $250 bill for this disgusting, unfurnished, pit of a room. It was New Years and we were trapped! No other place to go, dinner reservations and plans to do fun things that evening, so we suffered a night there, because what else could we do? ! When you book online you don't see the breakdown of cost per specific night, only the average cost per night. This is what they claim when denying proper compensation for unused reservation.

To be fair, the people we dealt with were nice and I thought everything was dealt with until we got home and settled our books. Priceline even tried to help sort it out but apparently both parties have to agree to refunds and refund amounts. I think this place probably has good rooms, it certainly looks like in the photos. But they knowingly put us in a trashed one that they haven't updated/fixed/painted/furnished and didn't care. We got screwed, don't make the same mistake.

Google won't let me upload photos for some reason but I have them. Server isn't accepting them even though I sized them accordingly. Too bad, as they speak for themselves.

Staff were friendly with games that you could borrow from the front desk. The pool was very nice and we swam every night. Some of the rooms overlook a road, but you can still see some of the desert and mountains. Not too far from Palm Springs, and other tourist attractions.

Room was recently renovated so floors were clean, bathroom shower had nice tiling (although there is no place to place soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles). Décor of room was simple but sufficient. Bed was comfortable. Our particular locale of room was quiet. Easy access to hot tubs and pool! The only thing I wish they would've had was a bar and restaurant! But plenty of restaurants nearby!

What a great place! Perfect temperature of the pool and a hot tub. Prices are reasonable and staff is exceptional.

Mountain room flooring is warped and more pricey as a suite style room. It's decorated cute. Took us awhile to get to it driving at night and it's super dark in this area. It's OK for this area.

The hotel is nice and all but when I went to the bathroom, it flooded the entire bathroom! My family didnt use it at all in that day as we used outdoors bathroom all day. It flooded from 2am to 4am! There was waste everywhere too. We asked the manager for a refund because the flood wasnt our fault and they said no. They blamed us for the accident and during the night. There were no rooms available too. And in the night when we asked them if we could get the refund they said sure but in the morning they said no!? The flood even came to the carpet as well.

The hotel staff are nice however the hotel manager Paula Carello was so unprofessional that we canceled are two weeks day

Very nice pool, close to Palm Springs, walkable to groceries and food.
Room was decently clean but could have been cleaner and rooms have been renovated although cheaply and the carpet was a little stained. Had a comfortable stay:)

Hotel is not as advertised, it's not a nice place and the amenities are all closed. Room smelled and carpets were stained. Housekeeping stole or threw away almost all of our toiletries. A full bottle of luxury face wash that we are probably not going to be able to replace, a full bottle of Neutrogena sunscreen, and a full box of floss picks, the list goes on. Never had that happen before at a hotel. Wouldn't recommend.

We booked the Celebrity theme room which are located on the 1st level. The room had a stale smell… but anyway. But when I went to the washroom there were dirty & used cotton swab & floss lying on the floor, which means the unit wasn’t cleaned properly after the previous occupants left. I felt disgusted. Upon complaining and asking to change our rooms to the front desk staff, they were courteous to put us on a different room which are on the 3rd floor. Those rooms (which are actually cheaper than the Celebrity themed rooms) felt better (meaning no stale smell & because of the simple decor the room felt spacious). BUT, the air conditioner was extremely noisy & obnoxiously loud, that it kept us awake all night!
Well, overall the hotel is okay-ish. Staffs are friendly. Pool area is nice. Location of hotel is good. But room experience isn’t good. I may probably not come come back for a stay in here again.

I used to love this hotel but I will not ever stay here again after my recent experience. I ended up leaving to go home instead of staying overnight once I discovered how dirty it was.

- Pools are not clean
- Hot tubs are not very hot
- Pool and/or hot tub made my skin itch, which is not something that has ever happened for me - caused a reaction for me until the next day

- Room was FILTHY!
- Carpet had not been vaccuumed- large pieces of trash (almond, bobby pin, etc) on the floor
- **Bodily fluid** on the chair in the room. Did not even appear that anyone had tried to clean, so gross.
- Tons of stains on carpet
- Parking lot not well kept

I do not recommend staying here. This used to be a favorite getaway for me but it's far too gross and out of date now for any relaxation.

Nice hotel in the quiet part of town. It is super close to a large shopping center so it's ok if you don't have a car. Staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean and large. In I will stay there again.

Located directly at a really busy street. You will hear loud traffic throughout the whole night. This makes ist almost impossible to sleep since you can hear any movement from the guests staying above you.
The room felt not high-quality and we found several hairs on our bed (we mentioned that at the check-out but the girl didn’t seem interested).

Would give a negative if I could! This place runs some kind of a scam so definitely be aware of your bill. There won’t be a next time for me but if you stay here it’s in your best interest to take photos before you leave your room. Apparently they charged my card I file a $200 smoking fee when I do not even smoke! I disputed it and they sent back a photo of cigarette ash on the toilet seat. So what I got from that is the staff or housekeeper or manager decided to pull in some extra side hustle with charging me for their smoking! So disappointed and such an untrustworthy business. I should’ve known when I pulled up and noticed the surrounding area was hood. Enjoy the extra $200 I will never book again nor will any of my friends or family after this nonsense. Hopefully you won’t either. Definitely not a 4 star hotel of any kind! Scam artists!

Wow, just wow! I can't believe the room I got for such a deal! Each room is uniquely decorated with its own theme! Mine is a minimalist, 60s-70s theme. The outdoor area is GORGEOUS! The staff is hospitable! Location is phenomenal! Rooms are clean! Towels are soft. Do not pass on the opportunity to book this hotel!

Very relaxing mineral bath, jacuzzi and heated pool! Two days well spent poolside lounging in North Palm springs on a budget! ️

Love this spot, especially the rooms with the private hot tub! The main pools are decent but how can you beat a private hot tub, all to yourself? Little pricey but worth it if you're out here for a night or two.
