Great class. The teacher (Jamie) is so good she makes the CPR & First Aid stuff easy to understand as well as easy to remember.
I highly recommend this class.
I took the fire class awhile back. This guy seemed to have a God complex and be full of himself. It was hard to sit through because he made it seem like we were all total screw ups already and he had to correct our way of thinking. I'm an RN who had just moved to California and had to get licensed with fire safety. His method of teaching came across as "I bet you think we should do xyz in this scenario, well, that would be completely wrong and people would die. We do abc. " It was strange.
I signed up for the BLS class and showed up for the 11am class. A sign was up that he would not be there and to return at 2. I did that and there were other people waiting there that said he wouldn’t be back until 5pm. I tried calling to confirm the 5pm time and never heard back. I understand emergencies happen but I wasted a personal day from work and would have appreciated a call back.
Absolutely wonderful and fantastic place! 100% worth the drive for me. I'd definitely go back.
