Arepas Latin Cuisine - San Francisco

The Carnaval event that I went was so nice, they have great service on table, the food was delicious. I ordered pabellón arepa, sangría and cafe Nutella and it was so good. Well seasoned and tasty. They have live band and there awesome too and have a place to dance and enjoy the evening.

The arepas were tasty, the tastiest out of three different places we have tried in SF and Alameda. Service was good. The atmosphere was awesome, as we happened to visit at a time where there was live Latino music:)

Arepas is a nice place to spend with friends. However, live music can be deafening and not conducive to chatting among companions. The food dishes such as arepas and cachapas were acceptable, but I may categorize them as generics. For example, the arepas were not fresh but reheated, detracting from the original texture expected from arepas just out from a "budare" or oven. The cachapa texture was entirely off, resembling more of a chewy/tooth-packing consistency, and the "queso de mano" was a typical mozzarella cheese, which was very disappointing.

I had the pabellon, which was fantastic. Perfectly fried plantains, terrific sauce on the beef. Paired with a great red wine, making perfect dinner. Live music (four piece Latin jazz band) made this a wonderful and satisfying evening.

It has an excellent atmosphere, genuine Venezuelan products and very friendly staff. Totally recommended if you want a good restaurant with Venezuelan food.

Caminado por la 16 St de San Francisco Ca, encontré el rincón venezolano que lamentablemente lo encontré ya retirándome de esta ciudad. Sitio agradable, buen ambiente y buena atención. Bebí unas polarcirtas y de cena me provocó la sopa del día, muy rica a pesar de la falta de carne por la hora, pero cocientes de esto me hicieron un descuento, y también me comí una empanada de carne muy buena también. Mi amigo se comió un plato navideño que estaba bien completo. Gracias por la atención de Antonela, muy amable y pendiente.

Walking along the 16th St of San Francisco Ca, I found the Venezuelan corner that unfortunately I found already leaving this city. Nice place, good atmosphere and good service. I drank some polarcirtas and for dinner it caused me the soup of the day, very tasty despite the lack of meat at the hour, but quotients of this gave me a discount, and I also ate a very good meat pie as well. My friend ate a Christmas dish that was very complete. Thank you for Antonela's attention, very kind and attentive.

Great place. Tasty food and warm and elegant ambiance. Nice wine bar upstairs and live music on Fridays night.

Really good arepas and tasteful cachapas. Nice place for food and drinks, excellent service.
