I found Armando on Yelp. The zipper on my Balenciaga wallet broke after 15 years of use. I wasn't ready to part with my wallet and spend money on a new wallet. His reviews were so great I decided to give him a try despite living in Sherman Oaks. Before making the trek to the westside, I called to see if it was something he could do. He kindly asked me to send him pictures first to make sure he felt he could fix it so that I didn't waste my time driving over the hill. For $45, Armando was able to fix the wallet, and in 45 minutes! He is a doll face too. Kind, honest and just amazing.

Armando is very nice and knowledgeable. I brought him a pair of Jordan 1s from 1985 to restore the tongue and, not only he did way better than the previous service I used, but also had them ready the same week. Knowledgeable and trustworthy. Will happily continue to bring my sneakers to him.

Drove for about an hour to get my new tabi shoes some sole protectors and it was well worth it. He gave me an estimate finish time and texted me right on time! He’s very nice and gave me few tips on how to wear them ahaha

Last month, I took two pairs of designer boots to Armando Shoes and Repair to get them set up with a topy half-sole. These were my first expensive shoe purchases, so I wanted to make sure I brought them to an expert who would treat them with care. The owner — I never got his name — was helpful and kind, explaining the quality of the rubber soles and how long I could expect them to last (about three years). He did an excellent job; the soles are pretty much invisible. It was a little more expensive than I was expecting, but I'd pay it again for the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I brought in a new pair of Louboutins to have a protective sole put on them. Armando was able to turn them around within 24hrs just in time for my big date. Armando is the nicest man and does a great job with all my shoes. I can't recommend him enough. Thanks Armando!

Armando is the absolute greatest! He cleaned and repaired a pair of white leather sneakers and velvet tuxedo slippers for me and did such an incredible job, they look new. He also waterproofed three other pairs of sneakers and they look perfect too. He was so kind and helpful and just an absolute pleasure to do business with. You can really tell he puts great care into the work. The turn around for all five pairs was just a few days and everything was ready when he said it would be. Everything was ready to go when I got there and he took each shoe out to show me what he did. He also gave me a lot of great advice on how to take care of my shoes for the future. Without a doubt will only be going to Armando for all my future shoe needs.

He helped to stretch out my boots that were too tight, and when they were still too tight he took a few more days to help me stretch them further with no extra charge. Before Armando Shoe and Repair, I had never gotten a pair of shoes professionally cleaned. Honesty, I wasn’t sure how it could be worth it, given the level of wear on my shoes. However, after getting so worn (you could barely tell the original shoe color was white), and the shoes being unavailable for reorder, I decided to bring them to Armando, and I’m so happy that I did! Armando did a magnificent job restoring my shoes. Upon picking them up, they looked fresh out of the box — good as new. Not only this, but Armando is a joy to work with.
