Armstrong Garden Centers reviews
14Amazing little nursery with many specialty plants. They will also easily special order plants if they don’t have them in stock.
The excellent staff is always helpful anytime I have questions. And it's a nice out of the way place. Quiet and engaging
Came here six times, sometimes for plants, at times for advice and, at times, for both. Each time I was treated as if I was extremely important, I was assisted, served and instructed to my full satisfaction. I have no need or desire to shop anywhere else. We veterans are respected with our discount, thank you.
I just left this garden center, with the intention of purchasin a number of larger plants to update my landscaping. A woman on the phone held a 30 minute conversation, not even acknowledging my presence. Another woman came to the counter and finally asked me if I needed help. I asked her a question about a Fushia plant. She pointed in the direction to walk and exclaimed to me, -I have to help tbese others, hehind you first. " I went to find the plant, walked around and stayed there a total of 50 minutes. I began to think about a transaction a few years ago of about $800, that I didn't know I could sign up for a membership. I only found out about it the following time when someone else was encouraged to join. Clearly the total lack of good customer service for all people is only provided to those whom they deem important and deserving of those courtesies.
Extensive variety of plants and flowers and other gardening supplies plenty of stuff easy access and you can get a lifetime guarantee if you purchase a plant from Armstrong which is unusual
Love Armstrong Garden and the staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable. My only issue is how small this location is but it still beats most nurseries especially in the area.
I've been a customer of Armstrong Garden Centers for many years, and every time I've been there, they've been able to address our needs.
I would like to especially thank Al for her excellent service, she is very professional, knowledgeable, warm service, kind and patient in providing me with a professional solution. Armstrong Garden Centers is our favorite florist and highly recommend!
Always really nice and helpful staff here. Great variety and selection of plants, trees, flowers, herbs, etc. Update? Same sentiment. Still pretty great.
Armstrong seems to have a new sales model that involves ignoring customers. After spending thousands here over 20+ years, I’m done. Two employees at the front cash register when I came over. The one on the phone turned her back to me, not even a “holds up one finger to signify I’ll be right there”. The younger one catches me side eye and is gone, no customer to help, just walks away. I’m standing there “Hello? Hello? Anybody work here? ”. Apparently not. I’m patient, but I’m also wise enough to know when my kind ain’t welcome.
I'm heading there after work today. I'm giving a great score in advance because I have been there before. They also have great customer service.
Be safe and wear your mask.
One of my favorite plant shops! Good selection of indoor and outdoor plants, and a better selection of soil choices than home Depot or Lowes.
Pleasant welcome by an owner who knows her subject inside out, I received lots of advice including for plants that I had bought elsewhere. Sometimes she offers rare plants. The prices are a bit high but that's the cost of petty trading, and the plants are much more resistant than in garden center chains. If you buy a pot repotting is free.
This Armstrong Garden Center has a nice variety of well cared for plants. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.
Best nursery on the planet. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Can't beat selection and quality.
